i have a question for my canadian friends here.
i go there often, and i see a tim hortons on pretty much every street, like mcdonalds is down here.
i've gone in to see what the fuss was all about, and all i saw were donuts and pastries i can find in every grocery store or gas station back home.

I have to say, I didn't expect as much "culture shock" as I've had since moving here. I used to enjoy getting groceries, but I'm finding it's a chore now. I wander up and down the aisles, not recognizing most of what's on the shelves. It takes me forever.
I've tried about 8 different brands of coffee, most of them I dont' like.
I miss Old Dutch potato chips.

OK, good. I frequently order iced tea in restaurants, so I will be more careful now.
I also learned that "bags" are called "sacks", due to this conversation:
SUPERMARKET CHECKOUT GIRL: Would you like a sack?
PALMTREE: A sack of what?
SUPERMARKET CHECKOUT GIRL: **eyeroll**

Also, I have a question about Taco Bell:
You all claim to hate it, yet there's one on every corner.
I'm beginning to suspect it is nothing more than a Mafia money-laundering operation.
What's up with that?
Actually, I have alot of questions......

They need to be more clear on that.
I don't carry packets of sugar in my car.
I don't think I was offered a choice, Botch.

OK, then you can come.
