WOMAN'S POEM
Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me to no end,
And always be my very best friend.
MAN'S POEM
I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs who owns a Pub and a
golf course.
This doesn't rhyme and I don't care.

See you in Paradise
by Mattieu ini was looking through a relatives photo album last weekend and saw pictures of their trip to an international convention in asia in the early 1990s.
on the final day the local bro & sis were all holding placards with phrases such as see you in paradise.. that reminded me of the last international i went to in sydney about 5 years ago, same thing happened on the last day, similar placards with similar phrases.
there was also a lot of random hugging of bro & sis in international costumes.

I was looking through a relative’s photo album last weekend and saw pictures of their trip to an International convention in Asia in the early 1990’s. On the final day the local bro & sis were all holding placards with phrases such as “see you in paradise”.
That reminded me of the last International I went to in Sydney about 5 years ago, same thing happened on the last day, similar placards with similar phrases. There was also a lot of random hugging of bro & sis in international costumes. I missed out on getting hugs because I looked like a local...... Next time I will wear my Austin Powers outfit.... No wait; there won’t be a next time, so I will have to wear it to my first Apostatefest whenever someone here gets around to organising it.
Anyways, when I saw the pictures of these placards, I had mixed feelings. I felt nauseas, angry, frustrated and regret all at once. I haven’t stopped thinking about it all week, so hopefully venting it here will get me to stop thinking about it. Some of the elderly ones holding up those “see you in paradise” signs would have sadly passed away, while others would have came to the same conclusion as me by now. It reminds me of looking at that w/t cover of the elderly ones under the heading of “the 19414 generation that will not pass away”.
Cheers,
Mattieu.

2 Congos in Geelong (Victoria) lost all their savings (donations) when the Pyramid Building Society collapsed back in 1990. Some heads rolled over that one....

Watchtower says Millions Living in 1997 Will Never Die
by LUKEWARM in"in the early 1920's, a featured public talk presented by jehovah's witnesses was entitled 'millions now living will never die.
' this may have reflected over-optimism at that time.
but today that statement can be made with full confidence.

Another failed promise that is blamed on the rank and file for showing too much optimism! What about a more refershing statement such as "We were wrong, had no idea then and still have no idea now...."
That reminds me: What do you call a Deer with no eyes? No idea... A deer with no eys & no legs? Still, no idea... A deer with no eyes, no legs & no penis? Still no f*%#ing idea....

Yeah no probs Lillith, yeah a little bit taken back, I did show concern for this guy with a telephone call to him. Spoke to him on Monday morning and he was still a bit shaken up, dropped in to his house on the way home from work last night as well, he's all good! I didnt really want to post all that info on my original post as it could/will blow my identity! But what the heck... As for putting more thought into the original post, sorry if that came across as short n sweet n heartless, but Im at work and someone is as alllllllllllllllways walking past my desk (esp the semi jw that works here now.....) which also explains my low post count:-(
Though I can type to my hearts content now as Im the only bunny in the office! Now where is that glass of chards!
Cheers Lillith, Mattieu

wow, this is the 12th post in reply to the subject.... 12 Apostles, 12 "apostates"
The symbolic number twelve indicates a theocratic organization number of completeness. The typical theocratic organization of Israel had twelve tribes. (Ex. 28:21) Jesus appointed twelve apostles as the foundation of his spiritual Israel. (Matt. 10:2; Eph. 2:20) Finally, in Revelation 7:4-8 there are listed the twelve tribes of spiritual Israel which comprise Christ’s theocratic kingdom organization. Twice twelve or the number "24" also appears to refer to theocratic organization.—Rev. 4:4.
Wow, looks like this post is complete! (though if someone else has posted whilst I type this then it could be #13, doh!)
