Outlaw... Exactly correct! I find that their motivation is always this new system. No love among themselves and from my perspective anything in this "system of things" can be used as a temptation so they always hold their cards close to their vest..

Whenever I chat with my Dad (who has been a JW for 45 years) I get a full dose of how bad everything is. At one point I stopped him and just said that I choose not to be so negative about things.
I know they love to "sigh and groan over the detestable things" in this "system of things"...

i rarely listen to him but it would been great to see him in his prime.. and i would've loved it if i could have seen the 60's versions of the temptations!.
Since my favorite band is still alive and kicking (Rush) I'll pick John Bonham/Led Zepplin
I have been a drummer for most of my adult life, and oddly never got into John Bohnam/Led Zepplin. Now as I "widen my interests", I find playing his grooves quite challenging.
Or maybe Jeff Porcaro/Toto. Another excellent player with challenging grooves to play.
Then I'll add Buddy Rich to this list. I dont think I have to say anything about him...
I know.. you asked about singers/bands... I just decided to substitute drummers just for my own .02 worth... :)

I dont think Neil has ever had a fear of flying, he wants to take the time between shows and ride his motorcycle through the backroads of America -- and blend into the local cultures. He doesn't do meet and greets since his family tragedy in 97 (I think).
