recently, in connecticut, a man was convicted of killing 2 young girls and their mother.
the animal raped them and almost killed the defenseless husband/father who could do nothing while these atrocities were being carried out in his own home!.

California had no death penalty when Manson was tried. Funny thing I never new that "life imprisionment" didnt automatically mean for the rest of your life. Apparently it's common that there is a parole period after 20 to 30 years have elapsed.

"Is any killer worth more than his crime?"
I would have to say the answer to that question is no.... but.... We have a flawed justice system, even eyewitness testimony is sometimes wrong. In light of that and the fact that death is permenant, I would have to choose that we inprision them for remainder of their life. I would rather imprision 1000 killers indefinately than to wrongly put to death the innocent.

The whole JW religion is founded upon a 19th century understanding of science and medicine. At some point they will have to accept a more "liberal" interpretation of the "blood rules" and render it a conscience matter.

i must admit, that i love being with youger woman.
i m 44 now, and so far the partners i had, where between 3 and 15 years younger, which i consider okayish.
but recently, i ve had email offers from girls between 19 and early 20. now i really don t know what to think about that.

i was doing some investigation on google maps for a trip i'm making to pittsburgh, pa next week.. come to find out the the place i'm going is only a few mile from the assembly hall i spent allot of time at as a kid.

everyone is still out there making comments about the bank bail outs and hating these 'big' banks.
however, how many of you know that all the banks paid back the tarp money with millions in interest???

Yes, the banks paid back the initial TARP. But.... ( a big but here...) The federal reserve has kept the interest rate at 0% -- this allows the banks to borrow from the fed at 0% and loan the money back to the federal government at the going rate of 1.5% -- so they've been getting income off the cheap Fed rates that makes the TARP funds pale in comparison.

Based on over 50 years of entrenched dogma, the preaching work has been pushed over the top of anything else that could be considered "witnessing". Maybe they'll hae some new light that says that the "preaching work" really means a more "generic witnessing" which could include the creation of food banks and other "showy signs of effection"...
