We Were Just Shunned By A Old Friend Who Was Just D'FD Herself For..
by Lady Liberty inhi friends.... just went to the grocery with my husband and about ran right into a old friend of ours that i have known since we lived in a little one horse town in minnesota when i was in 2nd grade, (32 years ago!!).
i looked at her and she immediately turned her head but kept trying to peak at my husband and i two lanes away through the magazines.
i waited for her to look at me and when she finally did and had eye contact , i started to smile a friendly smile at her and she looked away quickly.

Question about snakes
by callitquits76 inhi everyone, long time no post but i wanted your opinion on something please.. well a friend of mine has just got a corn snake.
its a baby but it will grow up to 6ft.
i never considered myself anti-snake because i know people do have phobias on them, but seeing it in action, including the way it eats, has really put me off - not only snakes, but also, the friendship.

just because someone has an animal you don't like, doesn't mean you shouldn't be friends with them. do what ex-nj-jw said and just don't go over there, if you're that afraid of a little animal. and really lots of other animals kill people too.

woah, you went way overboard. It's just a snake. Snakes eat mice, we eat other animals too. BTW snakes are doing us a favor, mice and rats are dirty nasty little creatures that can spred disease. I don't think they have emotion or thought in that matter. They are animals that are pure nature.

I'm diffed because I used to smoke as of 3 days ago(i just quit cold turkey). My brother is not diffed but has faded for the last 2 years and has recently picked up smoking for about a year. Him and his wife. He has also apostisized to grandma and dad who are full blown witnesses(completely brainwashed) my dad is an elder. He is faded so i'm sure nothing will happen to him. Just proves it's a joke and jehovah is not behind it.

I love drinking, friends, the good part of my family(my brother and uncle who both faded and are apostates), I love being in the sun and having some BBQ, I love video games (my favorite being World of Warcraft), also fishing, and being in the wilderness. I love alot more. but thats the jist.

here's how it always seemed to go in my experience:.
there is a general kh-wide excitement in the air that a real, live bethelite rockstar is at the hall; overheard are numerous convo's featuring words like "o, he's a bethelite".. visiting brother bethelite gives the closing prayer and is immediately mobbed by adoring fans.. all the single sisters are on high alert, you can smell the estrogen in the air.

Being a man it's pretty easy to forgive, and to forget, I smoke a big fatty and I forget all about it. Then I proceed to smile. I'm a very happy person so it makes it easy to forgive and forget. And I also remind myself everyday, that humans are a really dumb species.

Why Do So Many DF'd End In Some Sort Of Trouble?
by african GB Member inmost ex-jw's df/da that i know end up living a dangerous life.
some get into drugs, prostitution, gangsterism,etc.
as a result they prove the jw theory that says "whoever leaves jehovah's organisation won't make it" right.. it's difficult for me to say this, but it seems like jw's are partly right on this one.. why do most ex-dubs end up in a predicament of some sort?
