  i'm from england and on the sky comedy channels we get everybody loves raymond and king of queens.

  imo they're two of the funniest programmes on telly, i love 'em.

  is anyone else a fan of these?

  six months ago i had never heard about jehovah's witnesses.

  i was at the chinese buffet by my self.

  he came to me and asked why i was alone and how can a girl like me not have a partner.

  What a creep! Be glad you're rid of him before more feelings were invested. If I were you, seeing as you're not baptised, go to his elders and tell them everything! They can't punish you. He should be made accountable for his actions.

  1 - "well, everyone is going to die anyway, so if it at armageddon then ce la vie" 2 - "the disater today at the world trade centre is sad, but exciting" 3 - (an elder) "when armageddon happens, i want to be at a window, watching it all".

  Dissed, wow, that is SO inappropriate! Imagine if a sister had asked a brother that, she'd be hauled into the back room quick smart. I hope NO sisters answered, even when he tried to guess.

  i thought it best i stay a lurker.

  it's just right now, i'm going through some doubts and just plain discouraged.

  sometimes, trying to do everything just wears me out, and i feel like i'm suffocating.

  Yes, definitely take a look at all the moms stressed out...lol. Its true...its very hard working being married, and then if you have children, just getting to an assembly is a feat! Im glad I wasnt the only one who brought out that not all is as it seems, that sometimes people just put on a happy face. I know only too well how tiring that can be. Trust me, and all those who've said the same....don't rush into marriage, dont focus on the 'being single' part. Im sure there are alot of married sisters wishing they were in your shoes :)

  Question on Divorce when NOT scrip free.

  hope some light can be shed for me here :).

  to cut a long story short, ex left me well over a year ago and filed divorce proceedings on me from another country.

  was thrown out of court as the jurisdiction wasn't correct.

  Lol fat chance of that happening. He's history as far as I'm concerned. But thanks for the clarification. I'd often wondered about that, whether if legally divorced are you still scripturally together. Kind of hypocritical isn't it? You're tied to them for life, if legally divorced but not scrip free. Yet though you're scrip tied, but legally div, you can't sleep with them. What the heck? What a joke. In other words, noone gets any sex!

  so, i'm totally confused about the whole 1914 thing.

  maybe i missed out on hearing the new line of thinking regarding it, i don't know.

  You're right, I didn't do much personal study. I'm not all that old though, maybe when the revising of the generation thing came out I was young. Nevertheless, thankyou for connecting the dots for me :)
