Hortensia , you and aunt Connie are such a delight. I wish there was another dimension I could escape to also. It is comforting I guess to believe in this shat b/c life I guess is either too boring or too scary.

I once heard the guy from Logically Critical say he thought folks must find real life boring so they invent fairies etc. Take a listen to some of his episodes. They are stored on his site. He is not actively making new episodes but generously leaves them up for anyone to listen to or download.

It's been done many times.

Sometimes the locals take a lot of offense to this b/c of all the free labor and material ( in some cases) they got from brothers and many times unbelieving spouses.

Some have attempted to present the wts with a bill for the cost of their services and possibly material .

They feel that as long as it was a KH all was good, it was their contribution to charity.

However if the KH is sold to NON JWS, some have felt the wts owes them money as they now have Major profit from free labor and material .

losing it, I am sending up some prayers for you. I hope you can come out of this fog of depression long enough to see what he is doing to you and the kids. It is never easy ending anything . Really, when the pain of staying outweighs the pain of leaving, well, you have your answer.

I also know it may not be easy if you don't have support from family and friends. Maybe you have a girlfriend somewhere who will help you? If not they do have shelters .I know this is a big step. Calling the police on his crazy behavior will put him on alert and he might move out himself. It will tell him you aren't going to roll over anymore.

I also know that the culture you are raised in affects how you might view this and money affects everything. It is easy to say "get out" but requires some help. Avail yourself of help from the community as they can be a huge resource to you.

This is painful but in a few years you will lose all respect you have for yourself-- and it is hard to fix that.

I don't know the back story here, but jws -df or not can be ruthless when they won't out of a marriage. I know numerous examples of "brothers" who set their wives up so they could get a "scriptural divorce" . He's trying to dump you, it seems. Don't' be nice or he'll take the kids and tell everyone at the KH you are the "bad" spouse. He's going to do that anyhow but don't roll over . Do you want your kids to grow up in this environment? male or female he is setting an extremely poor example for them. You'll end up with abusive sons or doormat girls.

First get a lawyer and tell them the truth. His behavior is abusive and he can be stopped. Forget the wts, save yourself and your kids.

I know you are depressed and he has convinced you somehow you are the bad one here but his behavior speaks for itself.

If he does any of the things you mentioned in your post ( destroying furniture etc) call the police. They might not do too much at first but it is a PAPER TRAIL of allegations . I will come in handy for the lawyer and child custody etc. Keep all the texts he sends you and start planning your escape. and escape is what it is for real.

say a person wants to start making fellow jws think and open up their eyes so they decide to just repeat what they have read on some apostate site but deny any agreement with what read.

how many times do you think he could do it before being called into a committee, and eventually be disfellowshipped?.

how long could someone last playing that cat and mouse game walking on the edge repeating apostate criticism but denying agreement?.

This was how it was in 1975. Mention " no one knows the day or hour" etc and you were clearly not with the program. Many of us just kept our thoughts to our self and repeated the party line .

Once you realize that they are just another end time apocalyptic religion it helps. It helped me.

"i'm perfect, you're doomed" by kyria abrahams, 2009, touchstone.. if you want a way to get people out of that horrible cult, easily, quickly and expeditiously, then here is how to do that.. i can say with a vote of confidence that anyone who reads this book will never and i mean never become a dub.

dubs who read it (assuming they have at least one or two brain cells left) will run from their religion like flies on shit when you pour bleach on it and blow it up with dynamite.. toss away crisis of conscience, apocalypse delayed, 30 years a watchtower slave and all those other very nice books and read this one.

i read those and all the other ones.

a federal appeals court in boston ruled monday that a puerto rican law intended to keep neighborhoods safe from crime has been used to interfere in the rights of free speech of jehovah's witnesses.jehovah's witnesses in puerto rico had claimed that laws enacted in 1987 effectively shut down the door to door ministry which the christian group is well known for.

the laws effectively authorized neighborhoods to deny citizens access to public residential streets by erecting walls and gates around them reported digital journal last year.

according to primera hora, the federal court ruled that the law should allow the 318 congregations of jehovah's witnesses in puerto rico to freely express their faith.

tortured by this talk where they are attempting to legitimize the division/ separation of family.. "sadly friends some will refuse to have courage in this matter.is it not in our best interests to abide the arrangements of the christian congregation as set by jehovah?

accept the torture stake involved in confessing union with christ.

then they cite the example of a brother who is thankful to his wife for persisting in preaching to him.. now they are talking about disfellowshipping, lay serious guilt trip .the brother talking about his baby sister getting disfellowshipped, how his father cried for the first time.

OK i am a stupid. I know it.

I hate anything that has more than a on /off and volume control button. I'm technology challenged, anyway I can barely navigate the Internet since win 98 and XP ( the last user friendly systems I think ) it has all been a blur.
