  we're just spending a quiet evening together at the house.

  i have a pot of homemade soup simmering away for supper.... champagne at midnight as we watch the ball drop at midnight... coffee .

  Did You Know Anyone That Celebrated "Family Day" Instead of "Christmas?

  i knew a few families that wink wink did not celebrate gift giving for christmas.

  instead, they celebrated "family day".

  Our family celebrated "Happy Nothing Day" on Jan. 11. It was also my parents anniversary, and the next day was my birthday. Not to mention it was also just a couple weeks off from Christmas. What a way to exploit!!!!!

  Attending my mum's JW wedding

  so i have to go to my mum's jw wedding in 2 weeks.

  it's not in a kh but there's still going to be about 40 jws there.

  apparently it's "widely-known" that i'm gay and some jws have even told my mum that it's not wise to invite me because it will make other people (jws) feel uncomfortable.

  It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

  ...to make donations to both local and national charities in the spirit of christmas and all.

  i don't know about different locations, but in ours the charities will ask the local grocers and banks to collect for them and give the donor a little something in return.

  most often this is little more than a decorative slip of paper that is displayed with the donor's name on sort of a wall of fame by the entry way.

  I thought the bible was scientific until I read about Moses's magic tricks. turning staffs into snakes, getting water from a stone, crap like that makes me not believe in the bible.
