  Royal Commission and blood transfusion refusal for children?

  i wonder if the royal commission has examined the practice of jws being led to refuse blood transfusion for children when medically necessary to save life or preserve health in relation to the question of child abuse.

  i've not heard anything about this brought up.

  is the rc concerned solely with life altering abuse only in the form of sexual molestation, or is it looking at how the organization deals with all life altering forms of abuse jw children are exposed to the result of watchtower teaching and society?

  In my email to Stewart I mentioned there are many other abuses going on within this religion. I did not extrapolate other than to hint at victims being held to at least some if not all responsibility in an abuse situation, particularly if the victim is a female.

  In the hearings they did discuss the dangerous nature of having a child, particularly a female child, being forced to relate intimate details of molestation to a panel of men. They also touched on women not being allowed to hold leadership positions. The WT lawyer explained that they would not make changes if it was against the Bible. I think this ticked off, at least, McClellan.

  the rothschild family will not allow the aussies to take any significant action against their religious wing (mormons, jws, adventists, etc.).

  the worst outcome for the borg will be a relatively small fine and a deadline to change their rules.

  ARC: why the contstant secrecy?

  anyone watching the inquiry would have heard the org's attorney asking that the documents outlining the stucture and mechanics of the wbts be kept confidential.

  all this subversive and clandestine behavior is not helping their image.

  what do you all suppose is potentially damnimg in these documents?

  I'd say there can be a couple of reasons:

  1) They have something they don't want publicly known or at least known by JWs.

  2) They want it to appear they have uber important info. in order to maintain their level of importance and therefore control over JWs.

  Secrecy is usually a tool maintained and used by leaders of a group to ensure a certain level of control over the members of that group.

  I suspect an update to the Flock book will have to be made as it is now public. That was their uber secret elder handbook which is not so secret any longer (even though we all had access to it years ago too).

  Is Geoffrey W. Jackson a "ringer"? Was he sent coached how to testify? Is this a setup? I think so.

  if you have heard g. jackson speak you can tell that he is smooth.

  he is a good speaker with a commanding voice.

  i think the gb knew this was going to happen and prepped him to testify.

  It seems rather odd that one of the mouthpieces of Jehovah would be afraid of a little secular commission? After all, Jackson has the Almighty on his side who can channel advice to him at will!

  If shunning is a loving provision from Jehovah, then he's a d!ckhead. Something I also concluded when I was a teenager.
