  Great topic Blondie.

  The 'slave' between the Apostle John and CT Russell was so discrete that nobody knows who they were, where upon since the Watchtower started they've been identified and have basically never shut up about it.

  Shun Run/Walk 2012

  i am planning a public awareness event for april 1, 2012, i calling "shun run/walk 2012" to draw attention to shunning policies of jehovah's witnesses.

  i use to help out as a moderator on the ex-jehovah's witness recovery forum on yuku, so this is a cross post from that site.

  what you'll see below is a letter i have sent to "sdb:ssy", the otherwise anonymous jw author from us branch who wrote me.

  dear friends,.

  it has been a long time since i have posted.

  time heals much pain, and finally, my family and i have been able to move on with our life outside of jw land.. many of you became our friends, our support system, and you know very well our exit story...we were labeled, slandered and disfellowshipped for having questions regarding the date 607. we sent out letters exposing the elders and circuit overseer to over 200 families.

  the sunday after every memorial they intruduce a new talk, which is the 'special talk'.. this year it's called: "is it later than you think".

  anyone able to provide me the outline?.

  Clear distinction of people on JWN

  this has been an interesting science project to say the least.

  here is what i have learned:.

  you have about 6 types of people posting on jwn, they all fit into a profile.. #1 you have people like me that ran the race, exemplified conduct while in the jw cult and learned through observation that there was a severe disconnect between truth, and the jw cult's statements.

  Draconian Rules for Attending "Special Convention"

  british dubs are invited to attend a special convention next summer in dublin , irish republic.

  o k, this kind of trip has been done many times before.

  however i have never seen such a crude and rigid set of rules that would apply to their own people going on a trip, at their own expense of course.

  yup.

  let's begin.. i went to the kingdom hall yesterday for the first time in awhile.

  the public talk was something like "trust in jehovah" and the speaker (whom i know personally and is a tad "off") was rambling on about the persecution that we are going to face imminently.
