Is it possible to identify the Man of Lawlessness?

' [matthew 24:24] the one that was telling us all, that, 'the due time has approached.
the rank and file of the governing body, will tell you, that because it is they who are preaching this good news of the kingdom, throughout all the inhabited earth, for a witness to all nations before the end comes; that this work of preaching, stamps them as the one true religion; but what they are not aware of, is what jeremiah foretold, would be made known in the, 'final part of the days' when some would give their consideration to that prophecy with understanding; and learn that jehovah never sent, spoke to, or commanded any of the religious leaders on this earth today.

This year's "new light," as presented at the Annual Meeting, identifies the "faithful and discreet slave" exclusively with the Governing Body of the Watchtower Society. It seems that Jehovah is making the identity of the "man of lawlessness" clearly evident to his people, for the apostle Paul explains, "He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called 'god' or an object of reverence [the holy ones of Daniel 7:27], so that he sits down in the temple of the God, publicly showing himself to be a god." (2 Thess. 3,4; 1 Cor. 3:16,17; Eph. 2:19-22) This interesting development clearly separates the "evil slave," the man of lawlessness [whose "presence is according to the operation of Satan"], from Jesus' other slaves, all of whom have been appointed to provide food for the domestics of God's house at the proper time. In fact, their future reward of ruling with Christ depends upon Jesus finding them doing that upon his sudden return. It is only at that time that the slaves who were indeed "faithful and discreet" will be identified. But at that same time, Jesus will do away with the man of lawlessness, "by the spirit of his mouth and bring [him] to nothing by the manifestation of his presence." (Matt. 24:45-51; compare Matt. 25:13, 14-30) It is of the utmost importance that God's people understand the identity of this "son of destruction" prior to Christ's return, for we are warned that anyone who blindly followed this "lawless one" will perish, "as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved." (2 Thess. 2:8-12)

I checked that the new generation teaching was in Feb 2008 Wt issue (when the talk was given in AM in fall of 2007) so it could be as soon as February 2013 when this new thing will be in the Wt.

UN & NGO - PRO-WT Apologetics is TOP HIT on Google search!
by Essan ini typed in 'watchtower ngo' into google search the other day and was shocked to see that the top result was for a pro-wtbts site called 'jehovahsjudgement'.
i'm very disappointed by this because it means that one of the first sites jw's searching for the truth about the society's involvement with the un are going to come across is this deceitful apologetics page which tries to make it seem like the society affiliating with the un is no big deal and perfectly acceptable!.
this pro-wtbts site is successfully debunked by a response site - http://jehovahsjudgmentexposed.blogspot.com/ - which takes apart their excuses and manipulative deceptions fairly expertly, but still, this site doesn't appear when you do a google search and i had to look really hard to find it.

Seriously, in my opinion this is one of the major errors in their doctrine and they must know it is (at least Dan Sydlik knew it already back in the 70s) - and still they are too proud and stubborn to change it. They just cant admit that they have been wrong all this time. It was originally Rutherford's idea and the GB loves that tradition more than what the Bible actually teaches.
