I have rarely commented on this board since 2001, but I will indulge myself here. I have attended numerous Tea Parties and the dislike for Obama is NOT about race!! It has everything to do with the policies of this administration. I am truely concerned for this country and what will be left for my children!! I grew up in the 1970's and Americans have been asleep at the wheel while politicians have been selling our country down the river. We are wide awake now and engaged. We will work within the system to replace socialist marxist from our local government, on up to the national level.

A great majority of conservatives in the Tea Party endorse candidates like Col. Allen West, and Herman Cain both African-American men. So, no this is not about race, it is about the survival of our great republic!

What Bored You The Most As A JW?

i got very bored while i was a witness.. the meetings were so boring!!!.

jws are supposed to be "busy" in the lord's work.

if you're busy, you shouldn't be bored, right?

And don't forget "The morning consideration of the days text" Used to spend the night with my friend whose dad was an elder. At the time, the Thursday night meeting was on Friday nights. Saturday mornings before we had to go out in service, the family had to gather round the kitchen for "Text Time".

I remember my friend used to drag his blanket from his bed to the table, sit there with it over his head like a ghost and read the text in a scratchy hung-over like voice.

Boring...but entertaining to watch.

These a**clowns are amazing to watch. They (dems) create this housing fiasco, then when it hits the fan, they want to sit back and play stupid and hope the dumb masses fall for the act!

All the while, blame the banking industry for making these toxic loans they were forced to make under penalty from Uncle Sam!! And to top that off, they (dems) are the first to call out the lynch mobs to tar and feather the bank execs!! (We must create a diversion)

This is blatent hipocracy on display! People are beginning to wake up and see that their government is out of control, and is no longer listening to its constituants. It is pretty obvious who started the bad loan snowball with their policies, and which party tried to at least call attention to the timebomb waiting to go off. However, the time has come for accountability for this current spending frenzy, and we are talking BOTH parties!

All parties involved, including all incumbants, need a wake up call in 2010, that is, if the New System™ has yet to be ushered in...
