I've done it 1 full time (full 90 days) and have also done it for a month here and a month there ever since. Been planning to start from the beginning again soon. It works just like they show on the infomercial if you stick to it. I didn't even stick to the nutrition 100% and went from 189 lbs and 20%+ bodyfat, down to 169 lbs and 9-10% bodyfat in 90 days and was in incredible shape. I'm 5'9" tall btw.

Being a JW is like......
by LouBelle insitting down to whatever is dished up in front of you and eating it.
it requires very little brain power or imagination.
you just shovel in the food, burp, pat your tummy and no matter what it is you've eaten think it's a great meal.. being a free thinker is like a chef, the one who gets to construct the meal, thought is required, knowledge of what works together is required, a desire to cook the meal, imaginiation.. .

Having one foot nailed to the floor and walking in a perpetual circle all the while wondering how everyone else on the planet could be so blind to the saving power of the nail.

How Does a Jehovah's Witness Prove Their Faith
by passwordprotected innew freeminds blog (with the ability to leave comments!)..
i examine how jehovah's witnesses are expected to prove their faith and what that shows about where their faith is actually placed.. i'd really appreciate your comments, either here or on the blog itself..

To prove faith one must:
1. Turn in a time slip every month (at least 10 hrs a month if you want priveleges)
2. Make it to all meetings, assemblies and functions. Comment. Underline answers. (I was taken off reproof once and that was part of the reason because an elder noticed I was underlining answers, which shows "seriousness".
3. Keep your publisher card blemish free. (if you want to move up in the JW world or get married in a KH or anything, that's the first thing they look at)
4. Ask no questions regarding the teachings of the WT and use WT approved "lingo". (get a hobby if you start to have doubts)
5. Hate Apostates
6. Make the Organization look good in all instances and carry a no blood card.
7. Avoid independant thinking
8. Dress, talk, look and act like everybody else. (total whitewashing)(great crowd of howdy doody clones)
9. Lovebomb all newcomers and have all out of context scriptures memorized, in case they ask questions.
10. Parrot WT articles in public prayer. i.e. "thank you Jehovah God for teaching us that the faithful slave is giving us the food at the proper time"

New Guidelines for this Forum - Please take notes
by BonaFide inwe are happy to inform you of some rule changes on this forum.
we do not want to give the impression they are rules, so we will use the term guidelines.
at present, some are using this forum to express their own opinion.

In light of the new forum "rules" or "suggestions" I have a question.
I'm new here and have actually been reading all of the "approved literature" on JWN for quite some time now. I recently started "partaking" and posting my opinion. I started feeling like the JWN server was "bearing witness" with my server that I belonged to the "elite" . At this point I know that I am JWN'nointed. That being the case, I want to find out if my input would be considered for inclusion along with "the Server class". Thanks

Another educational moment by, you guessed it.....Reniaa
She said:
"If you had been there then would you have known when he said eat my flesh etc he was speaking figuratively not literally? to this day catholics treat it as literal."
Then she asked:
"Why do we have the bible?"
Ahem.....That would be the Catholics Reniaa, they canonized it in about the 4th century.
Then...
"Why do we have holy spirit?"
Sorry to be so blunt, but apparently you don't, you have the uninspired Governing Body to give you the pressure "beyond what is normal".
