I wanted to puke when I scouted some of my old congreagation members Facebook sites and discovered that two pediphiles are currently conversing with elders, their wives and other congregation members. These men were disfellowshipped for raping young brothers. Now they are reinstated and able to converse freely with congreagtion members. It's as if all the discovery, elder meetings, and robbing of innocence never happened. It isn't about love and saving their souls, it's about the rest of the congregation being safe.

by ziddina ini'm listening to the "six screens of the watchtower" broadcast from october 25, 2008 [yeah, i know, i'm waaay behind...], discussing pedophilia... that broadcast caused me to look up the current status of 'pedophilia notification' in the u.s.a..... rebel8 posted a link sometime back that gave locations of pedophiles in one's (u.s.a.) neighborhood... that portion of the link is, unfortunately, not working right now.... i decided to check out my [old] site, http://www.nsopw.gov/core/offendersearchcriteria.aspx to see if it still functioned the same way.... again, unfortunately, that site is also no longer giving out maps of one's area.... but, as pointed out in rebel8's posted link, pedophiles tend to move around.
this was also mentioned in the six screens broadcast by a lady named "lilly".... the new versions of both sites simply allow one to input the name of someone suspected to be a pedophile... not as effective, imo, but perhaps the cost of updating the maps due to pedophiles' high mobility became prohibitive.. so, here's my suggestion... using the 'name' search function, check out every name in .
your congregation, starting with the elders!!!.

The Governing Body has heard it all before. You wrote it well. I wrote them the same and more. Jehovah says if you close your ear to the plaintive cries of the little ones He will close His ears to you. Save your ink. Jesus knows and he will take action. He starts with his house first. They do not know they have already been inspected and did not pass. The GB has consistantly refused to listen and support the anointed. They do not want to hear about the joy of a heavenly hope. They grumble and shed doubt toward those who partake at the annual memorial. The first thing I was told by my then congregation presiding oversee after I partook of the bread and wine in 1984 was, " Do not talk about this to anyone. This is a matter between you and Jehovah only." I told him that it caused me joy and in no way did I intend to hide my light under a baske. In the following years, the elders did everything they could to discourage me from partaking from year to year. It is a long a arduos account of untold stress on my family. I will not give up my crown for them. I will not deny Jesus Christ, and I will not stop sharing my joy. Joy is one of the nine fruitages of the Holy Spirit. It is my God given right. Keep your chin up, your deliverence is near. Rest assured Jehovah does hear your plaintive cry.

So nice to know you are still alive and kicking. Watchtower is trying to regain balance. They apparently do not recognize when they lost it. Revelation 7:3 let's Bible readers know when the end comes. Since the GB doesn't want to recognize the anointed outside their exclusive circle, they will not be blessed with knowing when this occurs. Jehovah will not bless those who lie under His name. He will let them suffer humiliation just like he did the Isrealites. He let the nations jeer at them until they begged Him to make it stop. Then He killed those who jeered at the Isrealites. He will deal with His people the way He sees fit. What I feel is unfortunate, is the lies they handed down all too willingly about you. I starting partaking back in 1984,several others did also. We were told that if we were genuine it was only because there had been the removal of Ray Franz and all his cohorts. It was because a replacement took place. I see you haven't lost it after all. I cry that you still sing the new song. Only the anointed know the new song. I don't think the people on this site know what a privelege it is to have you respond to their questions. Are you ready to come out of the wilderness yet? Jesus spent time there. David spent time there. Eziekiel spent time there. The anointed spend time there. Jehovah promised that he would make it good. Revelation 12:13,14. We will see His face someday. Revelation 22:3,4. He will gather His true anointed despite mens attempts to prefent it. Hold your chin up it's on its way Brother Franz.

They put out an AWAKE several years ago referring to the custom of "saving face". They need to pull it out of their library and read it again. They do not listen to the rest of the anointed world wide. We tried to warn them and they dismissed us as rebellious. Even though they say that the "faithful and discreet salve" is all of the anointed living on earth, they remain exclusive and they say they are the voice of the anointed. In their efforts to appear united they are very divided right now. Because of this broadening chasim, a west coast/east coast division has been widening. They were warned about this problem also and didn't listen. The problem with pride and saving face comes when they are not humble enough to listen to the little guy. Jesus set the example when he washed the feet of the apostles. When was the last time an elder paid you a shepherding call and offered to wash your feet? You laugh? Well. . .

yes, there is suffering as many of these victims try to live on charity and can't find jobs in the worst economy since the depression.. some of their private observations include shock that you need a college degree for nearly any job and that the watchtower society couldn't have picked a worse time to do this to them .. all the while these complaints are discussed, i try not to show that i am astounded by their bizarre "logic".

Evil slave does not support Christ's brothers. It you say in your heart, "I'm sorry your're having a bad day" and do nothing to provide solace to that needy person, you are faithless. If one is faithless, can they be a "faithful and discreet slave?" Christ fed the multitude when hewas so bone weary all he wanted was rest. He put himself out many times to feed and comfort the people. Do you envision the GB washing our feet? To avoid ever having to do it, they dismiss us like the Pharisees did to Jesus followers. The Pharisees were the leaders at the time of the people under Jehovah's name. How disgusted Jehovah must now feel at the lack of love being exhibited by administration. Faith, hope, love and the greatest is love.

Each person is responsible for their own bad behavior. They cannot keep blaming everyone else for their bad decisions. Murder is wrong no matter what religion is involved. There are "bad apples" in all organizations. The child, again, is the one that suffers the most and is left behind to remember this horrific event in their life. What a future!

Haven't been to a meeting in 3 years...
by dudeson infirst off i'd like to say hello to everyone on this forum, especially those who clicked on my topic.. i was baptized on sept 9, 2000 when i was 15. looking back i only did it because i had been studying with the same brother for 2 years and it seemed like the next logical step.i have 3 half siblings who at one point were all going to the meetings but were never baptized.
none are in any way affiliated with any congregation at all and live a long way from myself and my mom.. my mother and i are the only ones in my family who have been baptized and as of dec. 2008 i moved into my own place because things were just too tense between us.
i figured it would be beneficial for our stress levels if i moved out.. when i became inactive my mom kept asking why.

I stopped attending for reinstatement in April. The local speaker referred to those who support the disfellowshipped as worshipping dungy idols. My son is active and lives with me because economicaly he needs to. So does that make him an idolator of a dungy idol? I waited for about 5-10 mins. to see if another elder would correct him and no! So I quietly picked up my bags and left. I am 54 and going back to school. I sacrificed my early college opportunities for pioneering. After what I sacrificed and the abuse I endured, looking back I would have chosen the Peace Corp. I have always had a social conscience and was raised to make a difference. Because I was denied missionary work, I think Peace Corp would have been a worthy alternative. The military breaks you way down and doesn't always build you up. I cared for veterans and they have not been treated well by the citizens or government of this country. You can get an education by other ways.

any art historian will tell you that the value of a painting is it's originality and uniqueness and the talent that can only come with time, suffering, and perserverence.. it is the oddities and quirks in one of a kind pieces that make them a delight and a treasure.. so why is it that this potter has no appreciation for uniqueness?

Jehovah God is not beyond destroying His own people for their disobedience. The judgement starts with His house first. Jesus cleaned the temple out with a whip and he can do it again. Remember when you point your finger at someone else three are pointing back at you. He HATES hypocrisy and His son called it the leaven of the Pharisees. When the Israelites sucked the joy our of thier own people by their made up rules and regulations, Jesus came and showed a better way. Jehovah allowed his people to suffer embarrassment and humiliation of their own follie by the nations surronding them. And then he punished the ridiculers. If you are unhappy with JWs for a lack of love, mercy, and justice, then rest assured He is too. He'll fix it, He always has. I believe exposure and embarrassment has already begun, as once exposure goes out on the WWW it can't be pulled back and hid under a rock. No matter how awful the Isrealites treated God's son, he never talked abusively. He didn't even call Satan bad names. He always maintained his dignity even to death. May we all be that strong in the difficult times ahead. Jehovah loves you and he will decide who are apostates as he is the true judge. He is looking for repentance and opportunties for forgiveness. The JWs no longer want to hear this message from me, so if it encouraged you to read it in any way I am happy. Sing more, dance more, laugh more, love more and you'll never be mistaken for a Pharisee!

So where does this leave Michael's conforming to Islam? What? Isn't a divided household another grief for those poor children to bear? And yes, there has always been prejudice against Blacks amongst some JWs. Prejudice is very entrenched in some families and as forgiveness is hard for some people to apply, so is love.
