everyone will be male...
everyone will have perfect bodies...
and most likely nobody will wear clothes.
I think I'm getting the picture.

question: will husband and wife live together after the resurrection is completed, if both are in harmony with god?.
answer: the scriptures do not reveal what the relationship of men and women will be after the resurrection is completed.
the most that we know is that there will be no children born during the last 100 years of the millennium (isa.

By "Special" what they really mean to say is "Easter Sunday". (But that would be Pagan, so... better nudge it around a little. Not unlike when JW's have their own "Christmas" the first week of January... so that it's 'not Christmas'.)

good excuses.
pinkeye.
(highly contagious, and you aren't supposed to touch other people's dishes and glasses.)tuberculosis.
Just don't show up - when the elders ask why, tell them that your calender shows Memorial Day as being May 31st this year.
(This one works best if you have blonde hair.)

hey folks!.
i made another propaganda-esque video for the vast apostate army's first mission which is to attend the memorial.
since alot of people liked my last video for the vast apostate army i figured i'd post this one too.
Seriously...
Let the sad, broken people have their one, joyless holiday. It's all they f*cking get. Maybe sitting through another boring 30-minute ad for watchtowerism will wake 0.01% of them up.

my sister is getting baptized soon.
she's still talking to me but i'm sure it won't be for much longer.
i've already asked her the following questions:.
I'd say... don't worry about your sister right now. Don't worry about it. Your sister is her own person, capable of finding her own way. Perhaps her way simply isn't your way.
My first inclination was to say worry about yourself - but don't worry about yourself either. Give yourself fair time. Just.. put 'knowing' and 'truth' on hold for a bit... don't be too greedy with understanding. Be ready to come to know it over time.
Instead, I'd suggest (and feel free to completely ignore this, I'm just a 30-year old) that you not worry about anything but instead just ask questions right now - all the questions you weren't allowed to ask or consider. Then find the answers - even if sometimes the answer is "we (humans) don't know." Read everything you can, watch documenteries... on the bible, science.. everything - and question it all. Question everything, do research on things until you are satisfied that you've either found the answers, or are reasonably confident that we just don't know yet. Sometimes the most honest answer is that we don't know.
When I first left, I felt very challenged... that by default, I was the one that was wrong, and that I had to prove it. I don't feel that way anymore. I don't care if my family doesn't want to change. The important thing to me is - I changed. I overcame cult indoctrination, and I am proud of myself for that.
The truth has literally set me free - not 'absolute' truth - but just honest, simple truth. We know some things. We have very strong theories on some things. We don't know some things. But no man, no "pope"... no governing body (aka "group pope") tells me they are the voice of some supposed god that knows all... and proves it by acting like a chicken with it's head cut off.
My family has learned not to talk about it around me. And when they try to 'hint' or be 'encouraging', I call them out on it, and watch their faces turn red. I ask them if they want me to 'hint' about the accuracy of various radiometric dating methods. I ask them if I want a quiz on just where creationism and evolutionary biology fails? Just how well versed are they on both topics? If I ask them just what are the 'gaps' in our understanding of evolutionary biology... what will I tell them when they guess wrong? Or should I 'hint' at the inaccuracies of the bible or their beloved governing body and it's failed prophecies?
To conqure them.. and to know and conqure their doubts - knowledge is the key. Knowledge is the power - and not just the 'cheap' hearsay from here, youtube, etc.. but real in-depth knowledge. The kind of stuff your average JW is too lazy to seek... and completely obliterated by.
I know your pain... I hate to see my brother and sister waste their lives for the WT. But ultimately... that is their choice. We all choose our own paths. Perhaps it's just taking them a little longer to realize that the milk is sour. My family is inheriently introverted and fearful - they are all equally comforted by the WT teachings - free from personal responsibilty to challenge their genetic dispositions. Still, I have a feeling that before all is done, perhaps my brother, my father, or my sister will see the faulicy of it all. They are all so taken in by the idea that any matter of faith is superior to that of knowledge. It can be very challenging - my brother literally attacked me just for my respect of education and desire to someday have a degree... but I can tell they all hold their doubts. Sometimes people need to see something - and that sometimes takes time. For me, it was a real wake-up call to hear my ex-wife's personal accounts of her sexual abuse and subsequent visits to the elders as a child.
Anyway, for your part... I say just be glad that you are free. You won. You are free. You can't change other people... just tell them what you think and let them see that you are a person.

will they kick me out immediately?

I think what would be more fun than just drinking the wine would be to take one of the crackers - and quickly produce a slice of cheese to put on top of it.

damn, many jws claim that lord of the rings is "demonic" "satanic" "promotes spiritualism" and that fairies, goblins, trolls and other fantasy creatures are satan's minions and that we should not read/watch etc anything like that.however, elves and the rest are not real and the stories are fictional.can't a jw read a sci-fi or fantasy book?pffff.
Thanks, blondie, that is definitely a classic bible moment right there.
Say, didn't Jesus the wise also have some dealings with those evil (read:inanimate) fig trees?
EDIT: Yes, here it is:
Matthew 21:18-22
Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing [an EVIL] fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. [STUPID FIG TREE] Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. [GOD DAMN STUPID FIG TREE NEVER GOT NO FIGS ON IT.]

As a child it always bothered me that we weren't allowed to read books like LotR (or in my case, play games like Final Fantasy), because of the cursory mention of a demon, etc.
Why not? We sit around in the Kingdom Hall reading and talking about demons all the time, afterall. The bible is filled with stories about demons. My whole life was worrying about demons. So why couldn't I play a game where I came across and killed one or two in the course of a 100+ hour adventure?
Here's where it gets fun though: As a teenager - 16 or so - I bought a book on 3D graphics programming - not even a storybook. The sample game you built with the book happened to be titled "warlock" - a boring clone of Wolfenstien 3D with no gameplay or content - just a title screen and 3D rooms to waunder around (adding enemies and weapons was left as an exercise for the reader). These books often came with a floppy disk or CD with the source code on them, which I installed. This 'demo' game didn't have a plot - or really anything to do with witchcraft.
One day my dad found "warlock.exe" on his pc... and guess what happened? I tried to explain that all I needed to do was rename the exe and change the title image that came up when the game ran - but no. Not good enough. Clearly I was becomming interested in witchcraft - and this $50 programming bookdemon-infested tome of satanic knowledgehad to go. (Ok, a little sensationalist.. I did have to throw the book away and uninstall the source code, but at least he did offer to buy me a different programming book since I had spent my own money on it. Weird huh? A JW parent encouraging education.)
Still, looking back... how did I not realize how stupid it all was?

telling you what something is not is the opposite of identification.. .
god is:.
1.someone the human mind cannot grasp.. 2.not human.
Yeah... talk about a long list of 'mental hoops' to jump through just to justify a concept.
Oh, sorry, anti-concept.
