Where are all the JW appologists quoting bible scriptures for us?
"Pay back therefore, Caesar's things to Caesar...."
...but the mighty Dollar Bill should be paid to Jehovahâ„¢.

my husband just gave me the km for june.
i thought the question box was interesting.
it asks the question "what should be kept in mind if we want some or all of our assets to go to jehovah's organization upon our death?".

"Pay back therefore, Caesar's things to Caesar...."

just wondering if anyone has uploaded this talk anywhere?
i am assuming it is saturday inculcate god's word in little hearts?
i am really curious what the gb is telling folks to think about this thing.
"Inculcate God's Word in Little Hearts"
Originally the title was "Indoctrinate God's word into Little Hearts" (*cough*our word*cough), but after discussion they found a more obscure word to say it with that had a nicer sound to it.

plainly, and as confirmed by jesus words of a "generation", it wasnt gods kingdom that was established in 1914.. but is it worst?.
the notion of 1914 comes from the bible according to the watchtower, and from russells pyramidology.. firstly its nonsense that it would be hidden in the bible, otherwise surely jesus himself would have known it, along with the alteration of jewish history to make it fit in with the primary source, namely, the satanic pyramid.. so, and as belived by rutherford, the pyramid is a satanic witness set in stone, from which russell belived he discovered the date of the birth of a kingdom.. now whos kingdom would satan be announcing?, plainly not gods, as even the angels didnt know, so it must be his own.. now, what happened as a result of 1914?.
the formation of the league of nations, the first step towards global governance, aka, the new world order, aka, the 7 headed beast of revelation that is in satans image.. so, have we been, inadvertantly, not announcing gods kingdom that hasnt arrived yet, but satans kingdom whose birth was 1914?.
JWs proclaiming a "Kingdom" starting from 1914 are not imaginary.
JW's didn't exist before 1931. Before then, there were the Bible Students.
Predictions by Russel:
Clearly, Russel's actual predictions did not come true.
Whether or not some "inivisble spiritual" event occured is purely speculative and frankly utter nonsense.
We know exactly what caused world war 1914. It's documented in history books. I'm not sure why people feel the need to tie some spiritual connection to things that can be explained and understood in the physical world without magic forces.

Being of the GB seems to revolve a lot around how many new ways you can phrase "the end is nigh."
In ten more years, will we be in the "Final days of the last days of the last days?"
Probably.

i've just happened upon the following website article featuring an interview between richard dawkins and dr rowan williams, the archbishop of canterbury.
i was surprised to discover that, when asked directly "why don't you call yourself an agnostic?
" he answered that he did.. here is the article:.
Ah, those three little words men (and women) hate to admit: "I DON'T KNOW!"
Religion has been pretending to KNOW for eons - stories of men with magical long hair and... people living inside the stomach of fish... global floods...
Sometimes the most refreshing viewpoint is a good, honest "I can't say I am 100% certain of something beyond human ability to perceive."
What is inside the center of the earth? There are simply physical limits to our ability to perceive. Of course, some human disicplines of thought and deduction have a much better track record of success than others when it comes to perception. But I prefer it when a discipline is forthcoming about the statistical likelyhood of their expectations.

a: you take the "j" out of "jahs" and the "f" out of "way".
i can't beleive that i did not recognize this 40 years ago!!.
njy.
When one has to explain the joke...
I think the "you take the 'J' out of Jahs" is what spoiled it. It is completely irrelevant to the punchline.

PS: Awwww, you fixed it.
before the mentally diseased apostates could get their hands on and dissect any information regarding the convention that hadn't been released to regular publishers/elders...the society released the district program on the official site completely and utterly slaying every single demented apostate on the face of the earth.
now have fun dissecting it kiddos, while we big kids get a taste of solid, spiritual meet this summer.
continue drowning in misery while god's people go on rejoicing and enduring these last days.
From this post, I can just picture jehovah dealing with the interent:
"Oh crap.. oh, crap... gotta keep that 2012 DC program from appearing on Wikileaks!!!!!!!!" (Couldn't keep the "Sheperding" book" from appearing on it 3 weeks before elders received it... but live and learn.) Keeping this District Convention program off wikileaks until the first week will fix that!
lol
Just a bit of a reality check: Yeah, uh.. nobody really cares. It's funny when the WT screws it up.. but you can't really win back points for 'not being idiots this time'. Most people just assume competence.
If it takes an act of god for bethel to be competent about something, wow.

This thread and the poster just blows my mind.
It's so stupid...
It has nothing to do with anything... who cares about some stupid convention some religious zealots have?
It's not even a secret....
it's just... stupid!
Hello!?! That's the accomplishment of your god?! Doesn't he have ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?
The original poster is the one making a joke of their god!

Alas - Jehovah wins again.
Granted, powerful god jehovah can't cure disease as well as antibiotics.
Granted, powerful god jehovah can't save people from violence and sufferning - or at lest, he won't.
Granted, poweful god jehovah can't save women from rape.
Granted, powerful god jehovah can't save children from pedophiles.
Granted, powerful god jehovah can't raise the dead.
But he can keep those district convention programs a big secret.
Because that is what is important...
What a wise, powerful, merciful god.
Bravo, jehovah.
Bravo.
