  Lost my best friend (man's best friend)

  just wanted to write a tribute to my best friend whom i lost last week, it was one of the most painful experiences i have ever been through.

  i have no children, my puppy was my child.

  i got him from a golden retriever rescue organization when he was 2. he was recovering from a car accident, still a bit skiddish, but he chose me to take him home (the foster mom said that he never responded to anyone like he did me).. he was always happy to see me, greet me with a toy in his mouth, he never judged me, never cared whether i was "bad association", he was always there when i needed to smile and remembe that i was not alone in the world.

  For us women, it would give time to see red flags and screen out incompatible people and crazies.

  Given enough time, everyone is incompatable and crazy.

  Instead of tediously looking for red-flags - something you don't like - why not look for something you do like and grow the relationship off of that?

  Disowning letter from father to gay son

  a friend or mine posted this on facebook (it has made the rounds on the net).. i didn't have the heart to tell her that this looks like a fairly typical letter from a jw to a disfellowshipped letter, often for things that would blow a normal person's mind (holidays, politics, marriage outside the cult, etc).. .

  A witness would not say "have a good birthday".

  I further doubt they would write such a letter without throwing in a scripture or WT quote to mentally justify themselves.

  my public education was very sad.

  although i received good grades in college track math courses, i never understood the underlying ideas or motivations.

  The universe is based on mathmatics. Simple fact - the movement of celestrial bodies are not random or unknown - they are mathmatical, and we have the equations for it.

  If mathmatics is beyond you... so is everything in the universe.

  PS: Physics and mathmatics are easy - we have laws and proofs for that. Death is the hardest concept for humans to come to grips with. Your brain is full of neurons, and once that dies that's it. :P

  I doubt any skilled, dedicated hackers are working on this. If they were, they would have annnounced their involvement with a leak of information.

  This just screams "ex-jw".

  Nobody looking at the bigger picture cares about the WT. Sorry - WT is small potatoes. I know some would love to consider the WT the WORLD LEADER in pedophiles..... but get real, it's not. It's made careless misteps, sure. Incompetence is everywhere. But I am pretty certain there are far more corrupt influences on this earth.

  There are countries and organizations that specialize in human trafficing, sexual slavery, and child prostitution.

  The Watchtower doesn't even make the grade, folks. I seriously doubt it's even in the top 100. It's just some idiot religion.

  If you really care about the cause... going after the WT is really barking up the wrong tree.
