Can't believe I am doing this

I have to ask all of you one question. If you have been inactive for years and years, would you DA yourself or just leave it as it is and continueyour life? Do I have to DA myself, or can I just keep on like I am doing and just not go to meetings.

I watched a Twilight Zone this morning and the marked became invisible to mankind. Not really invisible but all who seen his mark on his forehead were not to talk to him. Was funny, I knew it was being aimed at Jehovahs witnesses showing how stupid the shunning is.

snubbed by the dubs...
by undercover inas most of ya'll know, i'm not dfd or dad, just faded and i've commented about how i still have some contact with some jws that i used to associate with.
only on rare occassions do jws that i didn't know that well to begin with treat me as persona non grata...no big deal, i usually couldn't remember their names to begin with so it wasn't like i was being shunned by family or friends.. this story begins at the mall, where i was with my wife (*sbm), not my favorite place to be...but the sacrifices we have to make sometimes...you married guys know.... anyhoo, we're in a common area near the food court, deciding if we wanted to get a snack or just hold out for real food in a real restaurant somewhere else, when a "sister" we've known for years spots my wife and comes up.
we've known this person for over 20 years...we go way back.

That is one thing I have never encountered from the witnesses at this congregation. I do not go except the to memorial to take my parent. But everytime I see any of them out in public they are all over me hugging me and telling me how much they miss me and to come back. They even come to my home at times to visit. I guess thats all bound to change once my parent passes away and I do not even go to the memorial anymore, you think?

Worshipping Jehovah without all the rules?
by ptucker8357 inhi again.... i've been searching around for a few days now trying to understand whether or not there are spiritual folks out there who believe some of the fundamental tenents of the witness religion, but don't believe in all the rules that the gb puts forth... many of the folks that i talk to tell me that the only way to salvation is through acceptance of jesus as god.
i do accept jesus as the messiah, as a perfect man that god sent to atone for the sins of adam, but i don't believe he is god.... i believe there is one god, one son and one holy spirit and they are not three persons in one god... i feel weird whenever i go to another service that exalts the trinity, as well as some other basic rituals of their religion.... am i making sense?.

I still believe in Jehovah God, his Son, and the Holy Spirit as separate entities myself. I do believe they are so alike in charactor that they may seem as one. I have tried to understand the trinity but like others here, cannot grasp it.
I still believe there is no burning hell, why would God be so mean as to do that?
But I feel parakeet said it better than anyone.....
"Your beliefs don't have to make sense to anyone else, as long as they make sense to you and don't harm anyone."
I have always felt that Jehovah will judge us by your hearts, even when I was an active JW I felt this way. There are to many good people out there who are of different faiths to be destroyed simply because they are not JW's.

Lovebombing =Pats on the back for me going back to Meetings...I want to punch someone!!!!
by Witness 007 inafter being away for 3 years i have agreed to attend some meetings with my wife who is suffering depression.
she has no friends except witnesses.
every meeting i get pats.......pats on the back during the damn meeting, elders and servants patting me on the back, mouthing "hello" giving me the thumbs up.....the last elder who did it, i almost stood up and punched him....i invented love bombing and they dare use it on me...me!

I heard that love bombing on another site. I got just the opposite from the so called 'witnesses' there. I was seeking help and was attacked viciously by the witnesses. They kept saying I was being love bombed by the apostates and was going over to their side because of it. I have never been so upset in all my life as to the treatment I recieved from the so called witnesses there.

elder snooping on facebook
by Cordelia inmy dad rang me last night really upset coz he had decided to go on facebook under a fake name to see what some people were up to in his hall and while he was there he decided to type my name in and he did not loike what he saw ie low tops short skirts the ex jw groups im on and also the night out i went on last sat with our very own sirona (a known apostate who apperently 'ruined my faith' according to my family).
anyway he's coming tonight to help me deactivate my account and i'm not going to he knows i dont want the 'truth' so why is he still trying to control me?.
and also like i pionted out these people hes checking out will not be happy hes been snooping and he can't see it just thinks he is helping them?.

Is your parents paying your bills? If not, they have no control over you at all. Well if you dont live in their home, they have no control even if they pay your bills. LOL
