normally i don't go in for these conspiracy theory ideas, but a comment by kurtbethel on another thread got me to thinking.
might this latest dvd actually be proof that there are operatives inside watchtower hq who are deliberately sabotaging the society's material?

A death in the family this weekend prompted the rare opportunity to spend time with some JW family members. As I watched them engage with the our "wordly" relatives it occured to me just how delusional they are. Because they are sequestered within their closed, inbred community they have no capacity to understand just how weird they are to outsiders. For example, my sister-in-law boasted about how she had to go retrieve her child from outside playing with the neighbors on family worship night, and how she had to reprimand him for throwing a fit about it, lest he bring reproach on Jehovah. If you 3D animated her she could have been Sparlock 2. I really think that is how it is for this video -- within the cult, all will nod and say what a "godsend" this is, not knowing just how creepy it is to non-JW's.

It is standard action for copyright holders to file a cease and desist to YouTube for copyright infringement. They jerk the videos down to cover their butt. If the user persists, they are banned. More videos can be upload. More cease and desist letters can be issued. Welcome to the 21st century. Rally on compadres!

"Do you want to take a blood transfusion from Satan and make Jehovah sad?" Her eyes turn to flames and her tongue into a serpent. "Or do you want to refuse and make Jehovah glad?" The trend to promote the Governing Body continues I see. They continue to move away from the faceless/nameless impersonal body of the 1990's, though they still lack a clear figurehead as in the days of Franz, Knorr, Rutherford, and Russell.
Notice how the boy had to throw away the toy instead of giving it back to the kid. It reminded me of my childhood. I had some Garbage Pail Kids cards (they were a grossout parody of Cabbage Patch Kids). The cards got a write up in "Watching the World" and also were mentioned in at an assembly. (The logo was drippy blood -- won't someone think of the children.) My dad looked at my cards and observed how there were some that were mythical creatures like centaurs. He told me I had to get rid of them and so I, thinking it was a kind gesture, gave them to my neighbor. My dad blew a gasket telling me I should have burned them or thrown them away like the Corinithians did with their magic books.
