$6,600 Expenses For a One-Day Assembly At a Fully-Paid-Up Hall? WTF!
by Room 215 inthe wife just got back from a one-day special circuit meeting (or whatever they call it) at the regional assembly hall.
it's got a capacity of about 1,200, fully paid for, staffed by volunteers and in use for less than eight hours.
then the guy making the announcement tells the crowd that the one-day expenses for the gig was about $6,600 (?!!!)...

I remeber sitting at a meeting about 3 months ago after we had a two day special assembly, and the brother was saying that even though they had the money to pay for the deficit that the brothers and sisters in the congo (spanish congo) should still give donations because if they keep using the money they have then the bank accounts would be empty faster. makes you wonder?

I have a question? how do they know exactly how much the water bill is for? doesnt the electric company have to send you a bill? same for the gas? how can they generate a bill that quickly in matter of hours? I think there just throughing numbers out there. I have never ever donated anything at all to any assembly and kingdom halls growing up.

what's funny is that instead of them wts telling the mexican bro's to becareful and give them encourgement they just give them orders to keep with the studies and preaching work. no sympathy at all.
I wonder if with all the billons of dollars the wts have why wont they pay for the vaccines for the brothers and sis over there. but i bet that wont be ha happening any time.

yes, it saying that all brother and sisters need to stay home and still conduct there meetings all at home and on top of that to also conduct the family study. and to continue the preaching work via, email, phone, and also to contuct there bible studies with the new ones at home. also that the regular pioneers their assignments have been suspended.
geesh.. i can imagine how all jw's are really now saying the end is upon us.....

Hi, Mary, Grace, omg i'm so glad i'm able to talk to your girls. you guys really have helped me tremendoulsy. and once i finished reading the book i have pased it on to my coworkers here at work. they were very curious about JW'S. so i gues im passing the buck along. I'm so glad that i made the right decision in not returning back to the KH. I spoke to my husband about it and he was happy to hear how i felt. (poor guy i was trying to convert him)you know after reading the book i felt this great release of guilt that i had on my shoulders for the past 16 years of be df'd. now im starting to live my life with out stress on my mind.
I have been lurking here from month reading and following your posts and it made me feel right even though I dont know you well. but I know now that i have friends here.

The Bethel parking garage for the GB and other Bethel heavies
by BonaFide inwhen i was in bethel, i lived for awhile in 119 columbia heights.
its one of the brownstones across the street from the 124 building.
it has no street level entrance.. anyway, underneath that building is a parking garage.

i bet you that if some one from the congo needed help paying their rent or help buying food they won't give up one dime, but they expect dontated cars from the congo.. get the heck outta here. that is just not right.......but yet they are tax free i could imagine how much money they have hidden somewhere.
