a sister who was reinstated, accompanied her mom to another sisters house for dinner.
and a movie.

wow...first if anyone would have treated my children that way.. I would eat them ALIVE... yeah the mother was wrong in not asking the host before hand. but still you i would have not stayed or would have ever gone back to that sisters house.
Thething is that Jesus wouldn't even deny a meal to a person, who on earth she think she is by acting this way..... JW's are a true pieace of work there so discusting in there ways and yet they say there the choosen ones.

If the WTBTS suddenly dissappeared
by exwhyzee ini think most of those that are not talking to disfellowshipped friends and relatives would continue with the shunning practice out of pride and spite.
over the years, it seems to me that most jw's are less concerned about jehovah's will or how he feels than they are about their own feelings of personal superiority or righteous indignation toward the disfellowshipped one.
i call it the "how dare you!

More Society cutbacks - Society says "screw you" to the publishers yet again
by sir82 inat our service meeting it was announced that there is a change in the manner in which magazines are now to be delivered to the congregations.. up until now, magazines were sent to each kingdom hall via ups.
in years past magazines were sent to each congregation po's home address via ups.. going forward, magazines will be sent only as far as the assembly hall.
it is the responsibility of each kingdom hall to send brother(s) twice a month to drive out there, pick up the magazines, and return.. this of course saves a little bit of money for the society - shipping larger packages to fewer addresses will cost less.. however, what about the expense to the local congregations?.

i was told that the books studies held at individual homes were provided so when persecution hits hard and the governments try to close the KH's we could still get spiritual direction from the F & D Slave. This would be done in the private Homes of congregation members.
I the end ani't as close as first thought
Wasblind.... yeah I remember growing up with that same exect message... our conductor brother Rivera would always tells us his house was ready for the BIG A...and how we would have everything in the basement for our living through BIG A...... I guess his house is not to ready now since he died so loooong ago...... looking back now all i could do is laugh...

was hoping i would clear before the convention.i get so uncomfortable sitting for sooo long.
