  the latest inside u.s. figures reveal that 86% of jw children leave the fold, with some 29% who eventually come back for reasons of family ties, most never "reaching out.

  I left the Organisation 4 years ago. I was 20 at the time. I hated being a witness, plain and simple. Being a teenage Jehovahs Witness is absolute hell. I lived a double life, and let me tell you I was an angel compared to some of my peers. I can honestly say that almost every single young JW I knew was a hypocrite. There exists "Cool groups" within witnesses, just like high school and let me tell you, if you were a hardcore dub who liked the meetings and pre-studied you were the same as a geek at school. Why stay then? You may wonder. Why not just be "worldly"? I think its just all about not wanting to dissapoint the parents. Its about about guilt and pressure. At least, thats what it was for me, and almost all of my friends. Just my experience and outlook from when I was a teenage dub.

  The point being ,women should have Long hair, most women will say short hair on another woman is cute well not to us guy's.Woman look better with long hair.The most beautiful women who ever lived had long hair an thats a fact.A womans hair is her crown so let it flow.

  pfft! What kind of a thing is that to say? Speak for yourself. I think it really depends on what guy. My husband thinks some girls look great with short hair. It really depends if it suits the girl or not. Geez, I bet you think all women should wear skirts, too!

  what is the stupidest thing a jw ever told you?

  we all know that they say a lot of stupid things, but what really topped the cake?.

  for me, it was an elder telling me i was progressing really well when my meeting attendance was down and my field service hours were slipping.

  you may also know the gorilla Koko, that use sing language. These experiments have demonstrated that these animals are conscious beings, ans have emphaty to some degree.

  I got a book out of the library on this when I was about 17. I left it at my friends house who's dad was an elder. The guy pulled my dad into the backroom and produced the book. He told my dad this was a prime example of why he considered me to be bad association for his daughter.

  what's with the rule that says that ladies have to wear a skirt/dress to all meetings/service etc.?

  jesus wore a dress, does that mean that the men have to as well?

  I had this argument with my JW mother not long ago. She said the reason why women do not wear skirts to the meetings is that newcomers to the halls may get confused as to who has the headship in the congregation and may think that women have an authoritive position. LOL

  ever feel violent rage toward BORG?

  pork chop and in_between_days seem to think i am the only one on this board who is bitter and feels occasionally violent toward the borg...what do you think?.

  i have been called low life scum because i made a comment (after being provoked) about not caring if all jws died of antrax.

  honestly, there are days i really feel that way.

  You people do actually realize that this means children also, don't you, because I am wondering that perhaps you didnt read the statement correctly. If you did and support ravyn, then ravyn please accept my heartfelt apologies. You were right and I was wrong. Looks like there are some people who are just as repulsive as you are. Congratulations on compiling a thread of posters who wish death upon children.

  Like the above statement about the anthrax? I wouldnt count on it. Other posters may correct me if im wrong, but I think you are a minority.

  There's also alot of people on this board that have suffered at the hands of jw's. Alot of cruel things done to people on this board by jw's

  Thats a pretty immature mindset. So these particular JW's including their children have personally hurt people on this board? So because "JW'S" are an overall crappy and dangerous cult, we should laugh and mock when their members and their children are terrorised, because they deserve it. Great attitude.

  God, there are really some cruel statements on this thread. Just because it happened to be JW's that this idiot terrorised, it somehow makes the situation funny. I wonder how differently you would feel i it were one of you guys in that situation with your kids screaming and then having nightmares for months after. Grow up.
