Also, if any elders may havines copies of letters from the society pointing out the the order from the congregation exceeds the amount of donations from the congregations. i.e. your congregation order $2000.00 in books, mags, dvds etc. but donations were only $700.00, and so they wanted the congregation to pay them the $1300.00 if anyone has that I would surely appreciate it.

In the service meeting a part having to do with "Make Good Use of Our Publication" in Paragraph 5: Placement of Publications it reads:
We strive to place our publicationso only with those who show genuine interest. Keep in mind that we are the ones primarily responsible for the financial coverage of these valuable tools in our ministry. When leaving a publication with interested ones, do not hesitate to inform them of the "privilege" they have to support the worlwide work with their donations.
I need info and refs on how to make a scathing comment about it not being our responsible to collect monies for the borg, nor is it our responsibility to cover costs of these horrible magazines, books, etc. please to help. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's much more than more control and a way to make more money, follow the $$$ trail. That is what it is all about.

The Proud Humble People
by gubberningbody ini've noticed that there are quite a number of uneducated, unaccomplished jw's who seem to take their lack of accomplishment and education as a positive accomplishment.. the proud humble.. .
that and the constant references to people being too smart leaving the [b]organization.
"too smart?".

One must remember that some of the dubs are too proud of themselves and their lack of accomplishment. I mean how proud of window washing can you be? Others who have done well financially are also proud of themselves. thier children are imprisoned in a noneducational environment and have few prospects of jobs where they can actually use their brains or stuck with doing what dear ole daddy does. I have one young man who has spoken to me on a number of occasions about wanting to work for either Smith and Wesson Firearms or Winchester, anything but being a dub. They have nothing to offer their children except a lifetime of drumming on doors and being led by the nose by the society.

Anyone Read This Book?
by sammielee24 inthe book "gruesome harvest," should be on the mandatory highschool and college reading list for history and sociology.
it is one of the few books that are available in english that address the murder of millions of non-combatant german civilians and german prisoners of war from 1944 to 1950 as a matter of deliberate allied policy not inefficient logistics as it is most often presented in school text books.
it is important because this book was written as it was still happening and includes comments from eye witnesses in the same time period.

The Victors are always the good guys, just ask em, My two Uncles were over there for part of that after WWII ended, they said the Americans took many casulaties from German soldiers who didn't surrender and from individuals acting in guerilla war fashion, so it was on both sides, there wasn't a lot of fellow feeling for the Germans at that time either. One has to take into account the prejudical outlook of the now captives, germans, now that the war was over. I bet there aren't too many books bitching about all the money poured in there in American held territority. Have a good friend who was a German prisoner of war from Poland, he speaks of how his parents were killed when Germany invaded their country, and as a young boy he was put in work camps and farms and finally mines, was on the way to more internment when freed by the Russians and was able to escape them also and worked his way to the American held territory. He had many experiences, and he often talked about the German soldiers who didn't surrender and were attacking the Americans and others before being killed, imprisoned, or they just stopped out of sheer frustration of not being able to inflict significant casulaties on the Americans. He worked his way up and was at the Nueremberg (spelling) trials and according to him and his brother gave evidence against the Germans there. The irony of his experiences was that upon arriving in the U.S. during the early 50's, he ended up marrying a woman of German/Polish ancestry.

JeffT you are so right it wasn't just about jdubs, they were guilty by any definition of the word, sedition is and was an integral part of their make up especially Rutherford's he loved making other people take risks but he himself wouldn't take any, he was nothing but a charlatan a wolf in disguise whoe own family wouldn't have anything to do with him, he lived in the lap of luxury and made people think he deserved it. People want to be suckers it seems sometime, but hopefully sometime they do wake up, for many it was many many years after first being deluded, but for some they will never wake up.

Climate Change - Why are only the negative points presented?
by donny ini was reading some articles from the 1960's through the late 1970's where scientists were concerned about global cooling.
the articles talked about how the oceans would become more salty as the ice caps grew larger which would wipe out many types of marine life.
they also mentioned how this would lead to more cool/cold "high deserts" as there would be less water in the atmosphere for rain to develop from.

Like was pointed out years ago it was global cooling, now its global warming, anyone want to speculate that people don't really know what the hell is going on, not now and not then, We haven't been around long enough to know, so all speculation is just tha spelculation, if the scientist really had the inside correct view then we would be in an iceage, not supposed global warming.
