  When did things turn from paganism to religious?

  heard someone mention that certain acts are pagan.

  so thinking about it, i surmised that marriage, sex, eating certain things were okay and then after g-d gave the law to moses (supposedly) there was a separation for things, actions etc., that were pagan and otherwise bad.

  just wondering what others may think about this.

  marrying younger spouses

  my wife passed away 2 years ago we had been married over 30 years, i have since remarried and my new wife is younger than 3 of my children from my first marriage.

  i just wondering if there are any more like me out there.

  i stay in excellent shape for my age, work out almost daily eat good and have absolutely no medical problems or at least none i can do anything about, bad knees, but my vitals are excellent, and i am known as the teenage because of them when i have my yearly medical checkup.. so was wondering if there are others out there like me, and what some may think about it, just for the record i am extremely happy once again, and we have a 18 month boy who delights me, have a whole new outlook on fatherhood and child raising.

  Did the "Truth" really have the "Ring Of Truth"?

  when we were initially taken in by the supposed ring of truth that the watchtower espoused, we came to find out that in reality the supposed ring of truth was actually handcuffs and prison garb.

  once they have you there is no way of leaving without them shooting at you trying to kill you with viturpretive (spelling) mouthings, slander, and a complete absence of human feelings..

  watchtower feeding time

  had a thought, yeah i know they come every now and then, of how it is that the wt really feeds the sheep, they are all captive in a pen and the gb is shoveling manure to feed them and they are eating it up only to get indigestion, and yet they want more of it, seems to me that after eating a lifetime of bs from the gb one would wtfu.

  but no for some it will never happen as they have become acclimated to eating the bs that is feed them.

  for those that have waken up and jumped the fence so to speak, they find that the grass is truly greener on the other side of the fence, and we have hope that those sitting atop the fence will see that..

  suppression of women islam and the wtbts

  i can't help but equating the suppression of women in middle east countries with how the watch tower suppress them.

  no right to teach at the meetings, women told to hold husbands in high regard, but not women.

  it pisses me off because their are many women more qualified than men that are put in positions of power.

  family didn't donate

  a friend told me recently that he isn't having much if anything ever to do again with his siblings, his spouse passed away, and yet none of his brothers and sisters have donated a dime to help with the funeral costs or anything else, the siblings didn't even send flowers to the funeral.

  he is saing that's it, they have been written off of his list to ever help if and when they have this problem.

  the siblings aren't even jdubs.

  Ecclesiastes and Daniel

  believe i seen it mentioned in bart ehrman new book "forged" that both daniel and ecclesiastes are forger or at least written by authors unknown.

  anyone have any information on this?

  book study week of 25 April

  box on page 25 refers to 42,360 returning from babylon.

  yet i seem to remember coming up with quite a few more, or at least a different count, just comparing counts in ezra vs neh there are differences albeit small ones for some of the named individuals or heirs as one might say.

  anyone have any more info on this, have tried the search but cant come up with the count as of yet.
