  this year, i again accompanied my jw wife to one day (sunday) of the district convention this weekend.

  for any who are interested, i offer these observations from the sunday afternoon session:.

  when ya mentioned that the speaker said how happy "we" are., that kind of pisses me off when I hear it every time I can't get out of going to the meeting. How in the hell do they know (they don't) that all #so and so were glad to hear your studpid talk or to be here, bored out of our effing minds. that really pissed me off while a dyed in the wool dub, now it hyperventilates me to no end, I mean it really pisses me off.

  I ain't happy, Jehovah didn't provide it some dip shits did, and they ain't god. so get over it for god sakes.

  The 2.7 gps did it for me, I mean hello, you are hardly the top of the heap. I went to college, full time, worked a full time job and had a part time job besides and maintained a 3.9 gps. so she must have been a slacker imo. I'm not bragging, i worked arse off, studies on the can, during lunch, breakfast, supper, before bed, made tapes to listen too when driving and stuck in traffic so incorporated the studies into my routine that I was alsmost literally never w/o studying. even played tapes while sleeping at night, don't know when they ended due to deep sleep. Tired as hell. but did get the grades for some reason.

  she isn't impressive at all. run of the mill at best, throw her and her suit out of the court on her ass. thats all she deserves.

  what ancestory is she anyway???

  I have absolutely no problem with having churches or religions with substance (that is a population of 200,000 or more) taxed. They use public conveniences, like water, electricity, roads, police (when needed), etc. etc. So why aren't they being taxed. Property tax too, that would raise a lot of $$$ and if we are going to tax the so called rich then by all means lets tax the religions and their charities (you should have proma facia evidence) that you do actually have charitable benefits for all not just a majority of your own people.

  The charity of saying fixing houses that have been damaged, then getting the $$$ from the insurance when it arrives, it goes to a supposed pool (the society coffers) to be used for further fixing up remodeling etal. This is making a profit, you can't say its charity and then strong arm the beneficiary of the supposed charity for any monies they may receive from their insurance companies. The only real charity being done there is from the workers who (supposedly) work for free.

  Thats exactly what I am doing also, am reading some of Bart Ehrman book, "misquoting Jesus' and Jesus, Interrupted, seems not all in the "holy?? Scriptures is what they seem to be.

  Do You Think Most People Are Prejudiced ----Black, White, Red, etc.???

  after reading the terrific thread about the black harvard professor and the allegations being thrown around, i wonder if anyone might not show prejudice in one way or another.

  i kind of think, anyone can be guilty of it.

  i know some blacks that seriously look down upon other blacks simply because of a variation in color.
