the bible says the opposite.. adam was created physically imperfect or he wouldnt have needed to be put out the garden so as not to be able to eat from the tree of life-.
adam was created morally imperfect or he wouldnt have failed his first test.

Doug Mason yes i was wanting to know why the scripture referred to a temple vice a tabernacle or sanctuary, and yes i would like some info as to where i could do some research on how historians done their history and how they reported it. Any and help would be very much appreciated.

Reading the book, You Can Live Forever In Paradise Earth, on page 81 end of paragraph two it reads, "This raises the question: Did Almighty God create such a place of torment? Now I have always been told/taught that the idea of burning People had never occurred to Yahweh. Well if this is true how does one explain these
two verses from the NWT (No Way Truthful) Bible translation.
Lev. 20:14 ""And where a man takes a woman and her mother, it is loose conduct. They should burn him and them in the fire, in order that loose conduct may not continue in your midst."
Lev. 21:9 "Now in the case the daughter of a priest should make herself profane by committing prostitution, it is her father that she is profaning. She should be burned in the fire."
Now it looks to me like he Yahweh is very interested in burning people who don't follow his archaic laws.
Anyone else find this teaching of the Borg strange, Now take Japhthah and his vow at Judges 11:30 "Then Jehpthah made a vow to Jehovah and said, "If you without fail give the sons of Ammon into my hand, (31) it must also occur that the one coming out, who comes out of the doors of my house to meet when I return in peace from the sons of Ammon, must also become Jehovah's and I must offer that one us as a "burnt offering.
This to me is another indication that although Jehovah didn't want people making their sons and duaghter to pass through or burn in the fire to Baal or Molech, he had no problem having someone's daughter (Japhthah's) being burnt as a offering to him.
Your thought on this will be much appreciated.

I hate that it gets to me!!
by Newborn injust back from lunch and met two different former good friends from my congregation (i live in a small town) and they, of course, turned their backs on me... and it makes me feel strange and bad even though they're the ones who should really feel bad.... how can i learn to ignore it??.
makes me both sad and angry at the same time.
grrrr.

So do not trust them, they are in a cult and can't think for themselves."
That should shame them some, It's something like what i did upon meeting a former PO at a grocery store, and I ain't DF'd or DA'd. Told him hi he was just in front of me at the check out stand and he looked at me as if I was something he had unwittingly stepped on and got his shoes dirty, so I said to the cashier and those others in line, this guy is rude he is a JW he thinks all of you should die at armageddon unless you become part of the religion he is in. People like him pray every day for the end because he thinks only he and others like him will survive because they are jehovahs witnesses so please beware of them. He of course slinked out of there left his groceries on the checkout stand and just walked away, I don't think he was too pleased but he asked for it and he got it. I don't put up with that kind of crap from anyone, especially since i haven't left entirely or been kicked out. i won't play by their rules and if I get dissed then I will retaliate and try and embarass the hell out of them.

It has been pointed out by a poster that they are an organization and that they plan ahead, exactly they are nothing but an organization or rather corporation and they are in the business of making money off of people who can't seem to get it into their heads that, that is all they are, they haven't been selected by God, Satan or anyone else to do a damnthing, they are strictly in it for the money.
And for sure, they don't announce it when they are selling property and making millions off of it, the money that bought it in the first place was due to donations (however forced through guilt triping) One only hope there is a massive 10.0 earthquake in wakhill and it does every damn one of those self righteous anus circles in.

Please help re:objections to Thanksgiving?

do they claim there is any kind of a scriptural basis for condemning it?

Sometimes the hyproisy over holdays is nauseating, for instance knew one elder whose family had turkey all the fixing etc on Xmas eve and they even exchanged gifts that day also, but they swore they weren't celectrating Xmas.
the Same with Thanksgiving, nothing wrong with it except the GB don't want us to participate, they don't want dubs to have any fun or celebratory celebration they themselves haven't sanctioned.

I own 5 weapons 2 handguns 3 rifles and am shopping for a shotgun, i remeber some time back last year or just earlier an elder asked me what i would do if my or my family's life was threated, I told him I would shot those threating in doing harm to my family. He asked how i could do that, i told him easy aim for body mass and don't quit pulling the trigger until they are down. He looked severely shocked, shaking his head, he looked at me like i had suddenly grown horns.
He said what about Jesus sayingturn the other cheek, I said that only has to do when we are being set upon i.e. persecuted due to our religious beliefs. And it doesn't apply outside of that.
