  first of all i noticed that they basically complained a lot about being persecuted but have to dig deep to get examples of real physical abuse:.

  russia and surrounding states: they are being accused of being extremist a notion they somewhat admit and books are being banned although sources in russia say even though the ban has been set by a court it is not being enforced since they're appealing to the ehcr.. turkey: a zoning law requires them to change a kh building.

  really, persecution to appeal to the ehcr to?

  Sharing with my wife discussions about my cult...

  ever since the 20/20 investigation into the independent fundamental baptist churches and the parallels being discussed here concerning them and the witnesses, it became obvious to me that i was once in a cult 20 years ago.

  my poison was the ifb's.. i've since joined the facebook page that was seen on the 20/20 investigation and i've participated in one discussion concerning some of the wacky sayings we heard from various ifb pastors over the years.. i shared some of these posts with my wife and i have to wonder, will she ever see some of these things in her cult?.

  was the entire land of Judea devastated? or were there peoples still living there, was the 70 years just about the ruling of babylon? Verses the ruling of assyria? come on who cares, the WTBTS doesn't know what the hell they are talking about, which shouldn't surprise anyone.

  A true tragedy, I had been to Sendai many many years ago, went there to down load emotions and to chill out after participating in what was a high stressful situation(s). Always loved Japan, just didn't like the duty station where i was at nor did i like the command.

  Normally where there is smoke there is some kind of fire. I for one am not fully convinced, although having experienced an unusual episodic event many many years ago. my BIL also saw something that made him a believer and so the mystery continues, at least for our family. There was a program on television sometime back about the German scientist that were delving in UFO type of science. The program brought out the fact that the increase in sighting of UFO'S increased dramatically since the end of WWII. And especially since certain scientist from Germany who were brought to the USA delved into some aspects of flying saucers etal. So who really knows, I believe and then again I still question as to whether what happened was a real anomaly or what?

  What a STUPID morning on the ministry!

  just to give you a bit of background info, for those who dont know, i am a gay, 23 year old jw and im seriously heading out of the borg!

  I myself don't use mags, or anything else when i go out for my 3 to 4 hours per year, have been asked in the past as to why I don't use or rather am not passing out the memorial or other partiular tracts and told them, that isn't ministry, that is working for a pub company and i won't be the overt in doing it. and for another matter, it isn't any of your business how I conduct or don't conduct my particular ministry. That shuts them up as I am somewhat intimidating (as that seems to be the way I have been told that i portray myself). They are at best busy bodies and always want to bother you about somethng. I ignore them for the most part, don't talk to them or with them, i am the proverbial hermit/loner or whatever. but it works i get left alone most all of the time and I like that fine.

  i am wondering just why they the wtbts saus ot was 41 ce instead of much later in 60 or even later ce.

  I have read several of Ehrman's books, and have enjoyed them all, with a gusto, even though some of them go over the same things then that is okay with me, memory rote sort of thing, puts them in my mind and makes them easier to recall. Nothing like a reminder that a book (bible) that is supposedly inerrant is so chock full of holes it resembles swiss cheese. OH we read ad enjoy or not. all have a good day.
