I Was Offered A Bible Study By The Elders
by minimus in2 elders, the cobe and his sidekick, a former bethelite and a young ms (elder in waiting) stopped by my mom's home while i was visiting with her.
they were very congenial and eventually asked me if i got invited to the memorial and whether they could arrange a future visit with me and a possible study.
i thanked them and told them i appreciated their invitation but that i was going to "pass at this time" but thanked them for their concern.. they recited a "wonderful experience" about a young man that was raised in the "truth" but wanted out so he decided to go to asia where he could not be found by witnesses.

i've been straggling along for over ten years now without believing it so it's probably about time i made a clean break and moved on.. but i really detest the fact that the announcement at the kingdom hall no longer makes any distinction between those who are disfellowshipped and those who disassociate themselves.
what a sleekit way for the organization to disguise the fact that many people choose to leave of their own accord rather than being thrown out for supposed wrongdoing.

announ ce it in a comment, that way everyone there will know why you are departing, and there can't be any misconceptions about it. although some will still gossip and say things. And announcing yourself in a comment will rob the elder body of saying that you are not one of the jdubs any more and leave it to peoples imagination as to why and of course they will think you did something wrong and had to be dismissed. It will never occur to any of them that you can no longer stomach the lies and decption and the wanting of worship for the GB.

I believe it like Christs supposed invisible coming in 1874 er 1914 or whenever it's invisible and like that they do their house to house invisibly. Count your blessings with them coming less and less or as it seems in my neighborhood not at all thats one of those invisible blessings. Being old is subjective, I have grand babies however, my youngest is 4 months, had remarried and wife is 28, and younger than 4 of my children, work out daily with free weights and do the p90 x program. 6 days a week in addition to the weights. Feel 20 too so all is good here. My oldest is 40 and all my grand children are older than my youngest may be old in years but definitely young in actions and thoughts.

Why bother if they really gave a shit, they would have been back years ago, did they come? No they blow them off they don't really care they are just something they were told to do, so tell them to bugger off. If you let them come why be polite, they incompetent, dont do the job they are suppose to do, don't let them use you. And they will probably be counting time when they come and see you, if you must see them, tell them to come dressed as normal people do, cause if them come suited up they are counting their time and are probably there for nefarious reasons.
