in the early days, the appearance of the other sheeples (great multitude/crowd) was a real problem because the total number of anointed & sheeples were exceeding 144,000 so rutherford invented the idea of the great crowd which would make it possible to exceed the 144,000 limit.

nowadays, the exact same dilema is happening agian.

the sheeples are being kicked to the curb after so many years of being called the "generation".

Intriguing Plot to Topple The Tower...

a friend of mine was making a joke the other day about what i would do with my spare time if there was no watchtower, he was wondering if anything could actually end the watchtower or make it obvious to everyone in the world that they are not the true religion and therefore kill off their supply of possible converts.

i mentioned luciousvbogeyman on youtube and his mentionings of a plot for nov 5th, 2017 which lead to a bunch of postulating on my behalf of what he could possibly be planning.. this lead to something i found pretty interesting and figured i'd post here to see what everyone else thought about it.

I think the Rank & File would rally round their
Faithful and Discreet Slave class as expected.
There would need to be a lot of prior setting
up, by doing some recognisance and spy work
so that the foundation could be weakened.

Ok, so I was going to make a new topic
post and I can't for 5 more hours.
So here's some bit of news from Spanish
brother. Sorry to resurrect an old
thread... but there's mention of Toti
in it too.
So here's the e-news. Toti is in serious need of applying the counsel from
the July Awake! on "Depresión". According to the rumor from Spanish
brothers. Not only him but several others. Things aren't going well for
Spain Branch right now.
But there's this bit of interesting news too. The WT is looking into making
some of its publications available on the Amazon Kindle. And there's a
new Insight / Reasoning being considered to update the "new light".
The new songbook has been in the works for nine years now.
Problems between different departments getting together on what
they wanted have stagnated the project several times.
There's going to be two songs explicitely earmarked for use at
wedding ceremonies, [which one to use, which one to use???]
But... No word on the molested bees... will they no longer suffer
beating off in new song book? I'm eagerly expecting an answer.

but, the hall has been skipped afew times by the hall cleaning brothers.

see about 10 congregations meet there so i guess they think....the next guys will vaccum, dis-infect etc.

i think i got a donation maybe once or twice here in the states.

most of the friends don't ask for a donation.

in south america, more people donated, but i think it's because it was phrased differently, we used to say, "you can give whatever you want for this magazine.

Nope. I never ask anymore. The only times I asked
were when I got to do a presentation on a meeting
night on the current literature placement. Eventhough
I had the whole presentation memorized I still fumbled
it when going door to door so I didn't ask and still don't.

When you heard "apostate" who did you imagine?

i've always imagined a 60-year-old man with white hair who is really arrogant and grumpy with an evil look in his eyes, a very cold person who wanted to do nothing but ruin people's lives and was working for satan.

i never imagined i'd be one.... ...that or a 55-year-old woman with gray hair with glasses and a very rude look, and smarter-than-thou attitude.. you?.

There once was this guy, cute guy,
sitting on the trunk of his car with
a guitar singing some religious folk
songs and asking people to come
and talk with him outside the convention
arena in one of the parking areas.
He seemed very nice and his clothes
were casual but not dirty or anything.
He had some pamphlets he was trying
to give to people who got near enough
as they walked to their cars... My mother
said he was "an apostate." I still have
that friendly smiley face in my mind and
thought for the longest time that Satan
must have turned into an angel of light
if the cute guy was "an apostate."

i know i am the one to constantly harp on this board how the organization has lost its "swagger" and the baptism and attendance is going down, and people are waking up.. not so fast.. the audience cried, i mean a lot of people cried when they played some of the songs from the new songbook.

some had bethel singers who sounded pretty good singing them.

so many after the program were saying how touched they were.. then the new release of the book showing how the book of acts prefigures the organization today.

There isn't a meeting that goes by
that doesn't get at least a couple to
several credits the "Faithful and
Discreet Slave" for everything, for
the litterature at the right time, for
the help JWs get in disasters, to the
separating work, to the bringing of
millions to a "right heart condition"
with God, etc. etc. But can a JW give
a simple answer as to who is the
"Faithful and Discreet Slave" what
makes the Slave faithful and discreet
and who was this Slave prior to the
1970s. You'll get a bunch of blank
stares like you're asking a stupid
question that has no answer... Well,
I can't think of a good answer myself
so I just stare back.
