Troubled former witness calls legal department at The Watchtower Organization.............
Dale Beckman says, can the "Society" be guilty of "alienation of affection?" In my case, my family has been told it is proper to hate me and to do nothing to help me in any way - Otherwise, they could be considered a sharer in my works of "unforgivable sin." They are told not to even greet me. So how is a wife or daughter to show love to their father or husband? My wife is divorcing me on "mental cruelty" and so far the court has sided with her. Basically, if one spouse changes their view on any subject and it causes the other distress, it can be considered "mental cruelty" in Illinois. And my wife wants alimony. If she does not drop the divorce, I will sue all parties involved that helped instill fear in her of me.
It should be interesting to see if this goes through. Because I will be paid by the "Society" and then with that money, I will pay my wife. They will actually be paying for their teachings. But they should smile! At least they are "protecting" their members! And they may end up paying my wife (thru me) for her believing their teachings about me and in turn to fear and leave me and divorcing me!
I would rather just not have the divorce because I believe she will wake up eventually and I care for her. But she is taught not to listen to me. So what am I to do? I am trying to allow her the most time to "wake up." But things are not looking too good.
If this does happen, it may help set precedent to allow ones harmed by the teachings of the "Watchtower" to sue - Especially if their family endured hardship or broke up. It may also cause a change of some doctrines of the "Watchtower." They do not listen to Jehovah - Perhaps they will listen to money.
(I mention that I am currently looking for work - that is true - but I will find something and I am not looking for handouts -

Is this possible...... Hundreds of Bethelites now engaged in major reform?
by koolaid-man inwe all know the watchtower organization is now in a defensive mode.

I believe you are all overreacting....
I simply am asking is a reform possible? I did not say that I believe this is taking place at the world headquaters, it was made perfectly clear that it was put up on another website.
You all for the most are reading more into it than you should.
This reminds me of my judicial hearing, the Elders acted pretty much like most of you are.
Rather than listen to what a man using his real name is saying.... many find it more credible to gather information about me from people hiding in cyber space.
I say lets focus our effots and work together to expose the Watchtower for who they really are a dangerous and destuctive cult.
For the sake of new ones coming on this forum ,lets not stumble them by "nit-picking and being excessivley concerned with or critical of inconsequential details.
By the way I would never vote to have any of you removed from this forum, by doing that we would lose many great posters on the basis of a few attention seekers who have gone on a witch hunt.

We all know The Watchtower Organization is now in a defensive mode. Unrelenting criticism and critical information is rapidly coming forward exposing this esoteric cult.
Are their hundreds of Bethelites now understanding how evil their "Faithfull Slave" really is?
What do you think?....... Has the revolution begun?
The following information appears in this website...... http://www.christianwitnesses.com/id347.html
Click on site for additional information.
An older, prominent and outspoken brother on high level committees, who has a wife, and is a very good man made a joke regarding Geoffrey Jackson who acts as head of the Governing Body. A couple Bethelites made it into a cartoon, got copies of it circulated. It came to the Governing Body’s attention. It shows the Governing Body as Catholic cardinals of old and also Jackson as the Pope. It was done in a funny, tasteful way but it showed the Governing Body having their hands in everybody’s pockets, shaking them down for money.
So, many Bethelites have been axed over this, many investigations opened. Those who saw the cartoon, are still being dismissed just for seeing or laughing at it. For example a group was sharing copies of the cartoon in a bathroom when an older brother came in and asked “what are you laughing at?” They too were sent home for it. It was done tastefully and would make anyone laugh even if not for reforms, but Jackson and his Body still had this reaction.
So now even more people are working for reformation. They are willing to talk to Federal officials, do want their names kept secret but are at many levels inside Bethel and ready to expose wrongdoings to the authorities now—an attorney is involved. They held a private meeting at an out-of-the-way location like at 3 in the morning and agreed Watchtower has become the New Pontiff of this world, what Jehovah’s Witnesses originally rebelled against.
It seems like about every other talk is about making money over to Watchtower Governing Body although they are already getting tons of JWs’ money.
On Circuit Overseer had disagreed with the new Body including about some changes put in the new manual. So they stripped him but have so far kept him on kept in Bethel. Many insiders are now here working against the Body. Two are in the legal dept...in case any Governing Body members get arrested it is known that a trustee would be put in place. Two names are on the list now and if happens n 2012 that the one quietly for reforms got in then there would be major reformation.
He would abolish disfellowshipping except for say the extremes such as murder, adultery, pedophilia. Most Bethelites aganst change would be gotten rid of. We would return to the Bible itself. He doesn’t care about money; just that the organization would survive by donations.
Also if he becomes trustee he would give out the files on the pedophiles in order to strengthen the case against the Governing Body. Some might try to hide the files which would only get them into even more trouble.
Watchtower current Charter says all rights would go to any trusteeship taking over. Hopefully by this time next year there would be major changes. “There’s no place for this anymore. For kingdom halls where you fear to ask questions. It’s become unjust, disgraceful.”
In the 1600s excommunicating by the Catholic Church was the same as it is now with the Watchtower. Instead of crushing and destroying a person, the elders in Bible were to pray over the person. Those for reforms out in the congregations in the U.S. need to keep pushing ahead for changes. Just a little while longer and things will be back to where they should be. Hundreds now have a lawyer, telling that they are willing to give information on wrong-doing here. Shirley Jackson also came on and told Johnny and the rest of us that an ExJW friend Grace Gough was visited by 2 elders. Every since anything Grace (nicknamed Mouthy) sends to Shirley bounces back. Her husband says someone hacked Grace’s account and is behind it. She also can’t get through to the www.christianwitnesses.com website. She can’t communicate with a woman who has JW kids as missionaries. Johnny says yes she may have been hacked into. There’s a worm program that starts as spam. Bethel uses it to get information, it can also jam accounts etc. Getting it would mean that someone big in the Watchtower Society is wanting you to be jammed.
Sunday: Johnny was given time to speak primarily to the many young Ex- and Current JWs. Among things that happened he was asked by email if he could tell what is in the April 15, 2012 Watchtower before that information gets posted. He said okay he will. He also said that independently of what he is telling if you simply watch the newspapers and news in general you will be able to put it all together that what he is saying is credible. Rick Fearon says that instead of Sunday’s Johnny will endeavor to give a regular Sunday night phone conference coming after the regular Six Screens portion. See www.sixscreensofthewatchtower for further details.
ADDITIONAL: On either Saturday or Sunday (or possibly both), Johnny explained even more about the Bethel Underground. Namely, there are some anointed concerned because the Governing Body men who profess to be anointed have gone too far in making war on and harming Christ's Brothers and all the Little Ones. There are some 300 inside Bethel fighting now for the reform movement which grows daily. Word has gone out to the construction sites for the new world headquarters and the movement will now be able slow things down.
If the Governing Body were able to kick out all the reformers many of whom are in key positions then they would not be able to function. They can catch some but by no means all. They know that he, Johnny, is for real but either haven't pinpointed who he is since he takes precautions (paid phone card, voice changer etc) or if they suspect then have reason to fear all the information he (or a friend acting for him) can release on them.
If members of the Governing Body are arrested and the Trustee who gets installed is the other one who is against any reforms then he will find that he is discredited as more and more information comes forth. Meanwhile pro-reform JWs outside of Bethel who are aware of cases of pedophilia need to please be reporting those directly at once to the police.
Younger JWs especially also need to be alerted that as older relatives who are JWs are dying they are leaving their entire estates to the Watchtower. The Governing Body is wasting the money going out for lawsuits, their personal wealth and power not for helping Jehovah's cause and the families. -

A constant barrage of bad press has put The Org. in a defensive mode. Some of the top stories that are troublesome and loudly resonating through " The Ivory Towers" will continue to haunt them in the coming year.
1.... The Australian dilemma. Watchtower deliberately NOT complying with a law ordering all ministers to have a background check. Next court hearing Feb. 21, 2012 2... The cruel punishment of shunning now being examined and questioned by some countries around the world. Brazil, France, Russia. 3... The July 15, 2011 Watchtower magazine brazenly stating that Apostates are mental diseased! Did they cross the line suggesting this?......... Is it hate, discrimination, or outright libel? 4... Closing down of Gilead School for training of missionaries.... New training school for couples to preach mainly in urban areas. 5... Installing credit and debit card terminals at assembly halls. 6... The Society is running out of Spiritual Men. In times past the ratio of Ministerial Servants to Elders was much more than it is today. The reservoir of Ministerial Servants to groom for the role of elder is drying up. 7... Watchtower Org. selling off massive amounts of their real estate and raking in "big bucks". Headlines like the following one appearing in The Brooklyn Paper certainly can't help the rank and file to contribute more... It’s the billion-dollar boondoggle! The Jehovah’s Witnesses are poised to make out like moneylenders in the temple under the just-signed deal that allows the city to fund Brooklyn Bridge Park’s annual upkeep with tax revenues from the group’s properties, a Brooklyn Paper analysis reveals. 8... Watchtower buying up large parcels of land in up state N.Y. and proposing to build campus like facilities. Arrangements are beginning made to make Warwick N.Y. their new world headquarters. 9... Aug 15, 2011 WT "Internet Eve.... Do not become an “Internet Eve.” ... Be criticaland suspicious of the information Before trusting it, in other words stay off the Internet!
10... 2011 memorial partakers up ... How does The Watchtower react? According to the August 15, 2011 Watchtower magazine:
Memorial partakers. This is the number of baptized individuals who partake of the emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does this total represent the number of anointed ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number of factors-including past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalance-might cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling. We thus have noway of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.
We will be discussing these stories and many more today Sat. Dec. 31, 2011 at 7pm est. on The Six Screens of The Watchtower Conference Call.
It is easy to get on the call.... just dial 712-432-8710 and when asked for pin use 9925

Does my God have the same name as your God…and do you know his name?
December 21, 2011 08:58 PM EST views: 150 | 2 people recommend this | comments: 7This was asked of me today, but a fellow worker…A Jehovah witness that I have worked with for some time now, 6 years to be exact.
You may ask why this came about, or even came a part of our conversation. This is the Christmas Season, and seriously I am all about Christmas…But also I don’t judge or condemn anyone else for their religious beliefs. But her children come to the restaurant where we work every day when they get out of school. They wait an hour or so for her to get off work. They had gifts from school, not wrapped, but gifts and she was so upset over this. She threw them away in the trash. The gifts were gloves, a hat, and a scarf. She said quickly we don’t celebrate Christmas or any other holiday…And I have told the teachers…So why do they keep giving them things when I ask them not to…
Actually I knew that she was a Jehovah Witness and have always known since day one of working with her. For throwing things away and the real reason that I am upset, is because in telling her children there wasn’t a Santa Claus while there were a number of children that were in the restaurant that were between the ages of 7 and nine or so. Some were setting at a table near her children… She spoke to her children telling them loud and clear that there wasn’t a Santa Claus or any other mystical human that would bring those gifts or anything else. And I have told you not to believe and you still do…We are Jehovah witnesses…what part of that don’t you understand.
Then talking to her about telling her children in front of customers about her beliefs shouldn’t happen. This is when she asked me if my God the same God as hers was, and if I knew his name. Seriously I am not against anyone’s religion, or what they choose to believe…The point is she should respect others, mostly at her place of employment, as I respect her religion. Don’t put me down for what I believe and I won’t put you down. But she is an employee, and she should choose to act and represent the place she works for.
This is a woman that accepts Christmas Cards from Customers with money in them, are you shaking your head yet? If you don’t celebrate Christmas, then why do your accept the cards with money? Why don’t you refuse them and practice what you peach. I asked her, and she explained it off as it is the service I give to them the whole year long! It isn’t a gift, but it given in a Christmas card. Really, then why can’t your children accept a scarf, socks and a hat…? Because it is a gift…Really what is the difference? Mind your own business, this business is mine…she explained.
Sorry I know the name of your God, but I know the name of my God and I know the name of my judge at the end of my time on earth. I am not judging her, just upset with her for forcing her beliefs on the customers and me, throwing stuff away, if she didn’t want her children to have it ask if someone else wanted them and even asking me if I know his name, it may not be the same name she calls him, but I know him, he has saved me, he has been there for me, and he always listens when no one else does. So her asking me this hurt my feelings, I have always treated her good; I don’t judge her for her religion so what gives her the right to judge me, she doesn’t have the right or the position to do so, And yes this hurt my feelings.
Christmas is a highlight of my year, seeing relatives, spending time with family, and looking forward to giving and receiving gifts. A major family dinner to die for and also being a Grandmother now, enjoying my Grand-daughters Christmas Eve and looking forward to Santa Claus as a family tradition. Don’t judge me on my family traditions, and I won’t judge you.
My family traditions are what I was raised on, and you may not agree. My family means a lot during this holiday time, gathering together, eating, and enjoying each other’s company. Christmas Eve Traditions, loving, is spending time together. Really it isn’t all about the gifts, being together, seeing people you haven’t seen all year. Okay, there isn’t a Santa Claus…it is fun…The tracking of the sleigh etc. But truly the reason for the season is Jesus…Jesus is the reason for the season. But this holiday comes but once a year. And my Grand-daughter will know Jesus, and My God….or actually her God and she will know his name. And hope she sees a little Santa time along the way…the magic human mystical being of Santa Claus.
So some of we see things differently than others, is it because of how we were raised? Agreed I don’t want you to push your beliefs on me, and agreed I won’t push my beliefs on you…Actually I wouldn’t disrespect your beliefs so don’t disrespect mine.
The whole subject of this conversation and how she handled it in confronting her children in the place where we work in front of the customers that keep us in a job, with her beliefs. You work where people celebrate Christmas; you work where customers celebrate Christmas. We shouldn’t have to bow to you, or shy away from our Christmas Spirit just because you don’t celebrate.
And actually My God is the same God as yours you just call him a different name.
