Funny Story
by Jesus Christ inok, this story is about one of my earthly friends (not me because i'm up in heaven and everything) and can't help but laugh my ass off at it everytime i think of it.
this guy is about as big of an apostate as you can possibly get.
he was born and raised a jw but stopped going as soon as he possibly could and now just about everyone knows he's an apostate.

hey there. i notice that you use latin phrases in your posts sometimes. i use some of them in email sigs, etc. here is one of my favorites: "In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni." so far, only one person has translated it successfully. it means: "we enter the circle at night and are consumed by fire". cool huh. i think it is a fascinating language, and that they should teach it in elementary schools again., since so many words found their roots in latin. anyway, here are some unusual latin phrases you might like.

But! I did threw away some science-fantasy books when I became a witness, not al of them, but some that were clearly satanic ended up it the trash can.
ouch! the thought of all those books in the trash makes my hair stand on end!.
but i know why... we threw away anything that might have even the slightest tincture of satan attached to it. my niece had a copy of "the bell jar" that one of her worldly friends gave her. this friend had written a message to her inside the cover and had drawn a 5-pointed star in the note. she was known to tinker around with tarot cards, so her mom told her to thorw away the book. she didn't. so when my niece was gone, her mom took the book and threw it in the trash. as soon as her mom left, my niece retrieved the book from the trash and keeps it hidden under her mattress. oh boy...
and i would never throw away any book now, except jehovah's witness books!

THINGS I WITNESSED AS A WITNESS!
by soylibre in1.suicide--knew three personally who took their lives... 2.mate swapping--(literally) two couples--the two who committed adultry and got df'd together got married and the two innocent mates married each other...the poor kids were really screwed up!.
3.plenty of adultry... 4.lots of alcoholism--knew a sister who used to drink first thing in the morning...even before meetings.. 5.domestic violence--battered wives, some of them married to elders... 6.child abuse--worst of all.
7.believe it or not...knew several jw's who were murdered.... and they call this a spiritual paradise???

suicide: my niece, still active, triedto kill herself three times.
adultery: she cheated on her husband, an elder's son, with two men she met on the internet. he cheated on her with a girl he met online.
alcoholism: her dad is constantly drinking. 24/7. he always quotes bible verse to say how good libations are for everyone.
attempted murder: my niece woke up one morning struggling to breathe. her husband's hands were around her thoat and he was trying to strangle her. she ran down the street to mom and dad's house. no one called the cops, and even though they broke up, they are still "best friends". that's 'cause his dad is their presiding overseer.
sex abuse: my niece told me that "she thought ***** had been sexually abused by his parents when he was little. i asked her to elaborate and she dropped the subject. he is now anorexic and dresses like a girl, in full makeup, when he is alone. she helps him with his makeup and outfits.
this is all true. no reason to lie here!

That's okay. Most of Jehovah's Witnesses disagree with me too, or rather I disagree with them on certain things, still we share the same faith in Jehovah's promise and redemptive power. For the most part YK is going one-on-one against the world. I am simply a man of deep and abiding faith in Jehovah God and his word, who has taken his place on a public stage, a forum if you prefer, as a theatricle spectacle before men and angels. While most in the audince disapprove of my performance, and some constitute a front row of hecklers and juvenile tomato throwers, there are those observers who themselves are on stage as it were, who appreciate what the issues confronting us are. Others may not yet have an appreciation but may perhaps come to a realization in the future during the final curtain call. / You Know
you didn't answer. are you trying to "save" apostates? is that why you spend years talking to them? we are the dead, so why are you wasting your time? you say you have "conquered" already, so it's not about that. what then? or are you just trying to be a rebel? grooovy.

of course apostates haven't "conquered your faith". like all witnesses, you just tell yourself everything you see here is a lie. i think it would be a stronger testament to faith if you accepted these truths for what they are - truth - and still stood steadfast.

I think my presence is somewhat unsettling to apostate JW's for the reason that in all the years I have been on the net apostates have given me their best shot and they have failed to break my faith. I have conquered. And my continued presence is a constant reminder of the faith that you have abadoned and the judgment of Jehovah that we all must eventually face.
it's not your presence that's unsettling. just that creepy picture. ew.
guess what? this whole place is a constant reminder of the faith we left. (i would never speak for anyone, so when i say "we", i'm using the editorial "we".) anyway, i don't have one single regret. or fear of retribution. but i do wonder why you have spent so many years talking to "apostates". isn't that like a huge waste of your time and energy? i'm sincerely curious about that. why witnesses engage in dialog with "apostates". you won't answer. none of you ever do. but i don't believe in your judgemental, peevish, insecure god anymore. therefore, i have conquered... and i am happy

well, all i gotta say is i have never seen so many cute people in cyberspace. i'm serious. usually people in cyberspace aren't all that cute but... wow. everybody in this thread is really cute. dutchie what a doll. heaven you look so sweet. arachnia, i love your style then - you have a real genuine 'something' that shines through, i don't know what else to say but it's pretty cool. p.s. i always just say what i feel. sometimes people think i am flattering them, which i WOULD NEVER DO. i just say what's in my heart, and believe me, it's all quite real.
