  Is JW's working for an apostate the same as making military weapons?

  just a thought i've been pondering.

  should a jw knowingly work or be employed by a full blown apostate whether they are just inactive, df or da.

  i would think this would be the same as bad association, the manufacture of weapons or selling cigarettes.

  I know of a few Witnesses that worked for an apostate former elder in NY. Not sure what reasoning they used to stay at their jobs, but they did.

  I am a disfellowshipped husband, but my experience hasn't been one of having my wife treated differently. Why do you ask? Because my wife moved out on me shortly after being disfellowshipped, saying that we can be back together only if I get reinstated. Unsupportive bitch.

  The Secret Friend class would be a great group to be a part of. You are undercover, don't have to do much, and Jesus still loves you. Maybe the modern day Nicodemus class are the faders?

  i think i was 22 when that book came out.. and i remember the being at the convention remembering how much i appreciated it.. and even at that age - feeling like that book was for me.. but how do you feel about it today?.

  i don't have a copy of it anymore, but i do remember it being one of the better books.. thoughts?.

  i'm thinking of going to one this summer to research an article i want to write.

  back in my time anybody could just walk in, but some recent threads sound like that might be hard to do.

  i'm also going to try to get a local paper to give me one time press credentials.

  I've been to DC's where they use the badge as a parking pass. If you didn't have the badge, you had to park in a different, farther away lot.

  the jw's must not trust their members or at least don't have too much faith in them when it comes to being alone around member of the opposite sex.

  i can remember one time in particular from when i was a teenager that still makes me laugh today.. when i was younger i used to go out in service on a regular basis during the week when i had summer break.

  one time when i met for service there were only two other people that showed up.

  Once I met a sister at a movie theater to (you guessed it) see a movie. We both took our own vehicles and met inside. We ran into a local elder while at the theater, thought nothing of it. The very next meeting we were pulled into the back room.
