I'm not saying this is applicable in your situation, but many men are like dogs and can be trained. After the "new" wore off your relationship, if you generally ended up having sex only when you initiated it, and gave excuses, got mad or otherwise turned him down when he initiated it, eventually he'll stop and won't try at all, just like a dog or child learns not to do things they get spanked for.

i thought we had chemistry, but things weren't really working out in the sex department after we got married.

The cosmic struggle between the forces of good and evil
by Celestial inthe idea of a cosmic struggle between the forces of good and evil has prompted endless speculation by writers and philosophers throughout history.
there is a book, however, that contains the accurate history of the battle between god and the devil.
that book is the bible.

Evolution isn't true if you proceed from the premise that God created the Universe in six days. Slavery is good if you proceed from the premise that some people are inferior to others. I could go on... That is just a statement that is technically correct, but wrong on so many levels. Anything can be true if you base it on some unproven premise.

The idea that Christianity stole all its ideas from other religions isn't true if one proceeds from the premise that all truth comes from God.
That's a poorly worded statement that assumes a LOT. And I'm too sleepy to explain it right now if you can't figure it out.

Great Quotes of Great Minds

he said being assertive isn't a luxury, it's our inalienable right.
we don't have to feel quilty about it.

On a side note, I really wish I could have gotten to know my grandparents. They had all sorts of wisdom, knowledge, and life foibles I could have learned from. But alas, I was not allowed to because my JW parents wouldn't let me be around them. Now they're all dead. All I've got are vague impressions and a few memorable quotes.

One of my favorite quotes:
"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." Henry Louis Mencken

Most friends I've had that pick numbers and play the lotto do it to break up some of the monotony of life. They're at the stage of life where they realize all their dreams as a kid aren't going to come true, they aren't going to strike it rich, and they'll be doing good to retire at 65. It's just a way to keep the dream alive.
If you try scratch-offs, make sure to check your state lottery website. They provide up to date records of how many have been sold and what prizes have been claimed. Don't lower the already small odds you have by playing a game where the big prizes are already taken.

Ketosis was the best kept secret (for non-diabetics and those with without major health problems) until it became the fad of the year. I had a lot of success with it, especially getting past plateau's.

Songs that are atmospheric
by FlyingHighNow inthis is a song thread that will take a little thought.
i'd like for you to share songs that sound atmospheric and conjure up feelings of night air or a smokey room, the energy of the ocean's roar or capture the joy of a party or celebration.
the songs can be transportive and take you other places by their sound and the visuals they evoke from the stories they tell.. my first one is from tim mcgraw.

And to change things up, atmospheric post-rock... ISIS. The first 30 seconds are probably too hard for many folks, but after that...
