NotBlind,
The invitation still remains.
Until you accept it you will never really know if you are not blind.

Here is an email I received from a Jehovah's Witness who like a Noble Berean actually took the time to watch all the videos:
I listened to your three videos on The Book of Revelation. I really appreciated the way you illuminated who these "Kings of the earth" really are. I was struck with the thought at Rev 16:14 and questioned myself, "If the Wild beast itself represent the 'kings' or 'political powers of the earth' or 'the entire political organization of Satan' , then why would the Wild Beast go forth to the pagan "kings of the earth" when itself (Wild beast) encompasses the pagan "kings of the earth?'" That's like going forth to themselves. It seems clear to me that the "kings of the earth" here at Rev 16:14 are "John's Brothers" not the pagan kings of the earth. I wanted to thank the Most High God, Jehovah, as well as you for making this clear. Yes, Ii see the consistent references to 'kings of the earth' from Revelation Chapter 1 all the way through the book. Yes, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses (18 years) and I can only imagine the backlash I will receive when I reason this out with the other Brothers. Oh my.
The Internet is a wonderful place

a very simplistic and straightforward approach leaving out much of the confusing symbology.
Like a Noble Berean, use your God given right to measure if what you are being taught in the "Climax" book is really the truth.
Be prepared to look up scriptures.

for me it was when my elder dad put brusies on my arm, drug me down the hallway making me hit my head and broke my finger which resulted in surgery...and then he blamed it all on me!!!!
made me go to the meeting with my cast all druged up on pain killers and tell everyone that asked me what happened that it was an accident.
f***ing loser!!!!!
what is the one thing that made you want to NEVER go back???
This:
“Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues.

(on proofreading this, i feel that this is more preachy then i meant it.
so as a disclaimer, i hope you know that if you get that impression, that i didn't mean it that way.
having said that, this is what i feel, so if you relate to this in any way, enjoy.
Jeff,
I did the exact same as you in regard to reading and studing the bible and came to a very different conclusion.
You found yourself loosing appreciation the more you studied it?
That has not happened with me.
Think almost anyone who decided to get baptised must have at some point had an appreciation for the bible.
I will agree that other motives and pressure can sometimes be in play such as family acceptance (or fear of losing your family) and baptism of minors. If a person did not have appreciation for the bible and still decided to get baptised I would find myself questioning their integrity.
You latched onto the "downfall of JW's" part of my title. I guess if you believe that JW's are going down as prophesied, then none of us have anything to worry about.
Except for the many who come here and still have family inside.
As a side note I did receive an email thanking me for providing the link in the post above so your thread has not been in vain.
Does that mean I am obliged to extend the gratitude?
Thanks

he brought it upon himself due to many issues, but she (well i truly am guessing the dubette she is studying with) has decided that the best way for him to start to behave is to get closer to jehovah.
he has already told me that it will most likely cause him to just get worse because he doesn't 'believe in all that crap'.
i am not going to be able to study with him, i know she and the dubs would not allow that, don't think i am labeled apostate, but am sure i am not far from it.
Any idea what other kind of information I can share with him that will keep him thinking clearly.
Download, print out and share these two newsletters with him.
It will prepare him to ask the right questions and even make your wife do some real thinking:

You could also print out a couple of hundred double sided copies and share them with your friends, relatives, neighbours, workmates and maybe still have a few left to stick under windsheild wipers at the next District Convention.

their continued existence reminds me of my regret for being taken in ....
I don't want to see just a collapse.
I want a better vindication!
I would at the very least want to see twice the amount of pain and suffering that the WTBTS has caused done right back to the WTBTS.
That would equal an enormous amount of pain and suffering.
Revelation 18
5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind. 6 Render to her even as she herself rendered, and do to her twice as much, yes, twice the number of the things she did; in the cup in which she put a mixture put twice as much of the mixture for her.

It would not put closure to resentment however, it would make me very glad!
Revelation 18:20
20 “Be glad over her, O heaven, also YOU holy ones and YOU apostles and YOU prophets, because God has judicially exacted punishment for YOU from her!”
