  Call from elder

  i received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..

  When porn is mentioned, maybe you can ask how many who have got porn in there Internet bank? Like Awake said some time ago.

  Also mention that China also censure the Internet to protect the people from porn. Don't forget to mention that they say it is the only reason.

  587 with only Bible and WT-litterature

  a year ago i read a post where one argued the 587 bc with only insight and the bible, but i have lost it and can't find it again.

  can someone help me with that, please?.

  The case is over for me about the letters and so on. It was very traumatic when going on. They are so holly, they can not condescend to talk the case out far less show regret and apologize.

  Actually I am very glad it happened. It forced me to look for answers of what I really was involved with. I found jwfacts.com, ordered CoC and here I am.

  I am still "in", but stopped meeting attendance two years ago. They don't bother me, but I have to watch my back.

  just setting the record straight.

  there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.

  he is still alive.

  EXPOSING JW'S AT THE 7-11 THIS MORNING

  i'm getting coffee at the 7-11 about 8:30 this morning , in the parking lot i see this guy i know and his wife talking to some jw's in the parking lot.

  i go over and say hi joe and wife, i play stupid and ask do you go to church with these people.

  they say no they are preaching jesus to us.

  the fds argue about the murders in connection with the only two birthday parties mentioned in the bible.. the cup bearer was released at pharaoh's birthday.

  by that incident joseph could be freed and next; millions of people included the israelite were saved from famine.

  one man was killed, but millions were saved..

  so for some people, there is the one breaking point that makes people leave.

  for me, not so much about doctrine, but about how people treated one another.

  i always heard that we show we are the true religion because we have love among ourselves.

  The lack of love was the last straw for me; I ran out of excuses for them....and realized it was emotionally and spiritually abusive to stay around.

  That was Blondie's word. Just the way I discovered it.
