I'm with Lisa, I've never heard an announcement like that. Seems a bit fishy to me.

by KariOtt inhubby informed me that an announcement was made to his congreation not to approach us when we are out together.
this was done at his request.

ARE YOU AN ANGRY and BITTER APOSTATE?

some become quite bitter and angry and become very activist.

I think each and everyone of us deal with being tricked/hurt/deceived in our own way. Perfect example is my husband and I, we both went through the same crap. I have and continue to have moments of pure anger and extreme bitterness usually when I see the negative effects on my children. My husband on the other hand chooses to just let it go and move on.
Yes, it is unhealthy to be angry and bitter, if I could just let it go....I would, but thats easier said the done.
We are all diffrent therefore we all feel things differently. I choose not to judge anyone on how they feel.

Don't give up hope when it comes to family.
We have been dealing with off and on shunning....seems to happen more often right after conventions :)
I've learned over the past few years they don't want to know anything that will damage their faith in their religion, and if we want to keep them I our lives it's best to just leave religion talk out completely. That's on both ends, they know not to bring up anything about JW's to me As well.

Training the child regarding right and wrong
by man in black ininteresting experience i had friday morning :.
here is illinois we had freezing rain, so while waiting for the train at 8:00 am people were slipping and sliding all over the place.
i was on the platform, 5 minutes before the train pulled in, quite a few people were also waiting.. a lady ( about 40 years old) was holding onto her mother, who looked to be in her mid 70's as they crossed the track platform.. suddenly the mother slipped and fell, i dropped my coffee and ran over to help her along with one other man.

by flipper indue to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?
remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.
what about the thousands that don't get caught?

The Two Witness Rule breeds Predators.
by quellycatface ini have a friend who works in a correctional facility for sex offenders.. there is a brother who is serving a sentence for having sexual relations with a number of under age girls.. due to the "the witness rule" this man has not been disfellowshipped.
his congregation are still supporting him and he receives visits from the prison assigned elder.. i cannot contain my anger.. this is surely breeding predators.. i have probably mentioned this on here before but i wanted to post in this area for emphasis.. .

Exactly jnat. My husband and I have thought about the fact that predators love to brag to other predators about how they get away with it! I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's some sicko guide for what religions are the easiest. I would put the JW's right at the top!
