(refer to my previous posts for the full story) here is a quick re-cap: 2 months ago my mother found out that i am living with my boyfriend, she told me i was discovered by an "anonymous" tipper who turned me in for "living in sin".. first of all, that is nearly impossible, the congregation i was in is 100's of miles away from where i currently live.. no one would have ever known i was living with my boyfriend unless i told them, which i never did, i cut off all communication with that congregation in part of my attempted fade which was blown into pieces and discovered.. anyways, my mom tells me if i don't go to the elders and confess like a good little sheep, then she is obligated to tell them.. ( don't see why, i don't even live under her roof ) well i never went to them because why should i?

so they met with my mother and she told them i live with my boyfriend... let me remind you, this was two months ago.. i was told i was going to be df'd and that was that.

Just continue to ignore them. It took me awhile to realize that the only power they had over me, was what I gave them. They don't pay your bills or put food on your table so why would you owe them anything?

Move forward and start living you new happy life :)

Black lives matter is in no way saying everyone else's lives don't. It's simply putting a spotlight on the fact that if your black you're more likely to be pulled over and also more likely to be killed at the hands of a police officer. Three times more likely.

i am writing to give you a quick update about our ongoing statutory inquiries into safeguarding and charities linked to jehovah’s witnesses.. as you may know, one of our inquiries is into watch tower bible and tract society of britain.

we opened this inquiry in 2014. watch tower then initiated what turned out to be protracted litigation against us.

I'm sure at this point the higher courts know exactly what the WT lawyers are going to argue and are probably tired of hearing it.

I truly think it's just a ploy to slow things down.

I'm someone who gets motion sickness in the car when on curvy roads so imagine my surprise when I tried out the googles that came with my new Samsung phone and loved it!! I'm really new to it so I'm still learning but I really enjoy so far.

I get LA news it was one of the top stories at 5pm and 6 last evening.

I wish I could say it surprised me but it seems to be more and more JWs are getting busted. I'm so glad the victim gained the strength to go to the police. I hope it helps with the long road to healing.

Being Positive around family that are still in.

if you are a fader or you have reduced activity markedly - say resigned as a pioneer or an elder or ms or gone inactive and still have some relationship with your immediate family or spouse - how do you stay positive around them when you feel like shaking them out of their stupor but believe deep down it would be counter productive?.

After realizing nothing I said would change how they believed and would only lead to a very uncomfortable visit I refuse to discuss anything JW with them at all. Of course that left them with not much to say, so now we have very limited contact.
