  Geoffrey Jackson's Amnesia at the Royal Commission!

  at 20:00 - 21:30 in his testimony, mr. geoffrey jackson - in answer to mr. stewart's question about the governing body claiming to be god's spokespersons - claimed that it would be presumptuous of them to say that they were the only spokespersons which god was using.

  mr. jackson doesn't seem to know what he and his fellow g.b.

  members - and the providers of his lifestyle, the wtbts - actually teach as "bible truth.

  not feeling too clever at the moment...so sent off to the hospital for more tests....off the bus, round the corner......run slap bang into my first one...its witnessin'cart himself!!

  D'you know? I actually think the cracks are beginning to show! Really.

  I can tell you this - a lot of elders who are "careful what they say" are moaning to each other about all the demands for cash. I heard this weekend of an elders meeting in which one of the few "lets give 'em all our lolly types" got told by the rest that if he was so keen then send his own money while they (the rest) said to hang on to the congregations dwindling reserves for a rainy day!

  Apparently it got quite heated. (In the UK this one)

  this guy was decked out.

  fancy expensive suit and cuff-linked shirt, super fancy cuff-links.

  Wouldn't that be funny? Instead of going with a placard or shouting out and getting chucked out a group of five or six could go and behave impeccably and then all clap together at a really inappropriate moment ...

  Sydney Australia convention:

  "So brothers Terrence O'Brien was going to give the next discourse but he is in the slammer for misleading the Royal Commission and .... (rapturous applause) "

  Discussing the RC with a friend and my JW wife was listening.

  i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

  my wife was in another part of the house but heard my phone ring and so she came to listen, i did not realize this, because when the phone rang i closed two doors between myself and my wife.

  she opened the first door and started listening to the conversation.

  I don't know ... is six months - of real unpleasantness I grant you - enough time to let your marriage fail without a fight?

  Your wife is scared witless and acting like a mind controlled drone - which she is. No backbone to stoically continue in her faith and act maturely.

  At 15 your daughter may well jump into this religion with her because she needs her mother's support. If you can bear it play a longer game.

  If not well fair enough. I don't know enough to advise you really.

  Early on, not sure if it was in her statement or when asked by her lawyer about how it all affected her I think she said "I'm taking a break" so I think she is playing the "inactive" card. I hope I've got that right anyway.

  Her status? Superhero!

  Somewhere along side other Hero's like Candace Conti and Barbara Anderson and Lee elder - just above other heroes like (collectively) the Royal Commission and Paul Grundy.
