  Honest Questions About Child Abuse

  i have two honest questions for everyone here.

  i understand that most here want retribution from the courts against watchtower for child abuse allegations.

  but let us take away the instances where someone was accused of child abuse and then later put back into a position of authority, such as an elder or an ms. let us just take the cases where a regular publisher or even an appointed person, with no previous accusation of child abuse has come up against that person.

  well here am i, a couple of years passed since my original post (link here), somewhat less mysoginistic, more open to relationships, heartbroken again.

  this is an official "fuck my life" thread.. being chased by the elders makes one arrive at the conclusion that there is nothing better than not being chased by the elders.

  i had a pre-jc meeting a week ago.

  CLW: I'm pregnant! My baby will need financial support!

  If you have dodged a bullet then if you want a serious girlfriend go to where sensible forward thinking women hang out. Some sort of evening class might be good - languages perhaps?

  If anyone on here knows a better plan then let us know.

  AND STILL NO RELEASE OF THE 2017 JW YEARBOOK

  here we are on the cusp of the new year, and the 2017 yearbook of jws has still not been released.

  jw.org continues to feature the 2016 yearbook in its list of main publications.

  in previous years, the upcoming yearbook's annual report on jws was released in november for the january 1st then the feb 1st watchtower, then earlier in december when it was only featured in the yearbook, then more recently with a couple of days of december 25th.

  Jackson: "Look guys - if we publish the numbers as they are we will show a 0.5% decrease; we know that some of the shut-ins spoke to somebody in the last six months, why don't we add those in? Can't you come up with something Splaney?"

  Xplain: "Evidently we could assume that ... if we assume that just one inactive shut in per congregation spoke to someone that would give us (scratches on paper with pencil) ... 130,000 multiplied by 1 = err, umm ..."

  Lett: "Yuk yuk! Bingo! (Eyes bulge and jaw drops as he raises a finger) A hundred and thirty thousand!"

  Sanderson: Why not round it up to 144,000!? That's a Theocratic number. Add it on and we'll have about 8.3 million so about .5% increase!

  Tomo3: Then we spread it across just the western world to hide their decreases! All in favour say "Aye!"

  All: "Aye!" "

  Tomo3: "And we'll publish first week in January!"

  In all your studies and your personal experience have you found a silver bullet or at least something we can try upon our loved ones that are in the jw mindset?

  I notice from your profile that you helped get all your (adult?) kids out and that you have made progress with your wife.

  Don't forget that London Bethel will almost halve in size from even today's figures (about 400/500 "inmates" ) to about 250 when it becomes Chelmsford Bethel.

  So they can sell and take the lolly more quickly than would otherwise be the case.

  No big printing press for little England, no more "speshul relashunship" - zer Germuns have definitely become the biggest boy in Europe.

  Posting reunion photo soon with my granddaughter

  dear friends, i am relatively 'new' on this website, but i have been posting about not being allowed to see my granddaughter and the 'shunning' thing..i was just going to start a court proceding(my husband is an attorney)to try and get visitation, then my dad passed away..many of you wrote to me and showered me with much needed support.

  thru my dad's 'passing', i had to contact my daughter and we had a long 'talk' and she wasn't 'shunning' me after all..my sister, who is a "double-life" witness told my daughter some terrible lies about me which were ridiculous, and my daughter at that time was being treated for depression, so she didn't know what to think(as my sister is a witness, and she naturally assumed she was being truthful)..i have a damaged neurological system from 8 months of very high-dose chemo, at times i use a cane, i have chronic pain, etc.,but it is all from my illness..my sister was telling my daughter i was on drugs, and yes i am on medication, but not medication that gets one 'high', this is medication i must be on for life.

  so, thru my dad's passing, a miracle has happened, after 2 years of missing my granddaughter, in a few weeks i will be spending an entire weekend with her and my grandson whom i haven't seen, so my daughter and her husband can have some 'alone' time!!

  New KH being built near where I live

  there are two kingdom halls in two parts of the county i live in.

  one is smaller and their are already about to begin work to replace with a new one.. just posting because i noticed posts saying their wasn't new khs being built.

  Wonderful news A believer!

  Oh. I notice from your post you learned this today from "someone" yet they (the KH's) are in "two parts of the county (you) live in".

  Why not stroll down, take a few pictures and keep us updated.

  As JWdaughter alludes to I wonder if the one hall being replaced will house the two (or more) congregations and the other hall get sold off?

  My pre-teen and early teen derriere was also dragged around in a "1975" and "1914 generation that would not pass away" warning work.

  i recently spoke to an old friend of mine who is still under the clutches of the watchtower.

  a while back, i had told him about all the child sex abuse coverups, false prophecies, false doctrines etc.

  he was really shocked and surprised.
