  i'm quite surprised about the new approach of some local congregation brothers respect about my fade.... funny, ilegal and very dangerous in view of the different laws regarding personal data and minorities in spain and in the eu.... i already organized a press meeting with main newspapers in spain.

  many has shown interest in this situation.

  the fact of that a parallel judicial system do exist is amazing them.

  So XXXX says I have had sex out of wedlock. Really? Have you another witness to this accusation against me? If not then is not the procedure set out for Jehovah's Witness elders is that the body should ask two elders to investigate, not to set up a judicial committee.

  Visit From Jehovah's Witnesses

  had two lovely jws (stephen and ruth) visit this morning.

  this was our second study in the last 2 weeks.

  they first knocked on my door (bell is out) 3 weeks ago and i shared my testimony and we arranged to meet last tuesday which we did.. our first study went like this:.

  Just a thought V7 ... (you are doing brilliantly IMO)

  If you want to play the long game then as Listener says "demonstrate your sincerity". If you really want to "display humility" and "readiness to listen" then ask them to pray to help you have faith in what they are saying.

  Then maybe go along with them for a visit or two and explain how you've given them a chance to explain their view but that you sincerely believe it to be going against "God's word."

  Then be sad that they are disappointing and seem to be "wilful in their disbelief" because they put their religion's writings over the scriptures.

  The Biggest Mistake The GB Have Made In The Last 10 Years

  i think the single biggest mistake the governing body have made in the last 10 years has to be creating jw broadcasting and putting their gb members on there... on a weekly basis too.. when i was a kid, i had no idea who the governing body were, what their names were or what they looked like.

  there was one or two long term pioneers that knew the names of two of them but that was about it.. when i was about 10yo i imagined they looked something like this:.

  ahh.... those learned men with a lifetime of bible knowledge just oozing out of their very hearts.

  But Sir 82 don't forget lack of enthusiasm in North Korea can mean the death penalty. The folks there are even more captive than jw's are.

  Back to the GB. If 3 million believing jw's adore them then 3 million range from WTF? through disappointment to despair and back to WTF?

  And that's not counting the disgusted "awakening class" and the "in but under the radar for family class" which must count somewhere in the hundreds of thousands?

  And like a venn diagram the overlapping third in most congregations in the west that apathetically put in/report less than 5 hours is probably increasing through 40% now.

  Circuit ASSembly low-lites

  so in an effort to relieve some pressure here are what i term the low-lites of yesterday's assembly that i had to endure for the sake of family still in and my progressing fade.

  apologies in advance for being pretty long winded.. these may not all be the actual words used, but the ones i use are close, and they pretty well say what was said from the platform.. right off the bat in the opening prayer the praises of the governing body were spoken.

  fading/holidays

  so for those that are fading, i have been fading for almost 6 months now.

  havent been to a meeting, assembly, service, etc.

  i no longer believe it is the truth.. how long did you wait before celebrating holidays, if in fact you are even celebrating them.

  Stuck

  i feel so stuck.

  i am married to a wonderful man.

  i have been married for almost a decade and adore my husband.

  Oh it's so not easy - this waking up when you love your spouse dearly but they are devout.

  Don't rush, don't blurt out things that can come back and be used against you by those your husband in all sincerity seeks help from.

  Rather than attack "God" - how about inconsistencies in the literature that has made it impossible for you to trust "imperfect men" anymore.

  Go on jwfacts to find some real beauties.

  The "overlapping generation" is dealt with using the WT literature and scripture to great effect. ONLY USE WT literature and the Bible - no reference to "apostate websites" or the "apostate sources card" will trump the truth you tell and close you down.

  Another:

  Remember at the convention that hate filled video where the scandinavian young woman is forced back to Jehovah by her deluded parents whose father scowls at her contemptuously across the KH when she is df'd and ignored when she phones her mother?
  

  Now look up on jaydubya dotorg under FAQ's about "do JW's shun?" and see how it is portrayed there and ask your husband to explain why one thing is portrayed on the website and another at the convention?

  Stick to WT literature, take your time, cross your fingers and hope for the best.

  Oh and seek advice here! There are some crazies but most of us understand completely and want to help.
