  I am getting disfellowshipped

  maybe some of you remember me, maybe not.

  for general information i am now 19 years old, and living by myself.

  for the past 1 year (more like 1.5 years) i have been quietly fading out of the hypocrisy of this organization, but since i still live in the town i grew up in it has been hard, and filled with different challenges.

  The KS10 Elders handbook states that it must be spiritual fellowship with other DF's for them to be able to DF you.

  There is a small chance they are bluffing. (Though they might try to use their new favorite Brazen Conduct or Causing Divisions card) They will need to get their witnesses to say exactly what has happened.

  DO NOT GO!!!!!!!

  IF... IF... IF... - they communicate afterwards with you that you have been disfellowshipped then tell them you do not recognise their authority; that they are breaking their own rules and you are appealing and are writing to Bethel and if any announcement about you is made then you will instruct your lawyer to seek legal remedy against the JC members individually.

  So ...

  1. SHUT UP and DON'T GO.

  2. IF they hold a JC in absentia then they MUST tell you the result.

  3. IF THEY DO ... Tell them you are ignoring their incorrectly convened "theocratic" court and you are appealing to Bethel and to a lawyer about seeking legal and financial redress if any announcement is to be made.

  4. Keep us informed so we can help you every step of the way.

  DO NOT GO!!!!!! UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!

  They have nowhere else to go!

  i think the overwhelming problem with trying to wake up friends and family is they have nowhere else to go.

  i mean these people all their friends are jws a lot of them their family is jws.

  if they wake up or agree with you in anyway they know instantly that they loose all this, many will even loose jobs.

  What the Fall Guy says is true.

  And this is why if they have to deal with someone who is concerned or is awakening and who is in anyway vocal about the skeletons in WTBTS's closet they run scared.

  Then the unrest gets to the elders who quickly consult the CO or HQ who will "guide" them in methods to bring the "concerned" jw back in line.

  If that doesn't work they will manipulate scriptures to boot them out.

  Any "Naboth" clinging to scriptural principles in the face of WT lies will be stoned (AKA DF'd and ostracized) and the R&F know it.

  Why the meetings are boring and uninspiring

  each individual may have their own views as to why they feel the meetings are boring and uninspiring.

  in my case i find the midweek meeting so, because of the constant emphasis on pitching watchtower literature.

  its just monotonous and one big yawn.. i watch other christian faiths where they open up a chapter of the bible and discuss it's contents.

  THE MAIN THEME

  1. Listen and obey the GB (virtually always described as the F&DS) - listen and obey the elders because we are telling you what the F&DS say you should do. They know what is best for you and guarantee you will be blessed with everlasting life in the name of Jehovah "very soon" - even if the Bible, your experience, older witnesses experience, even their own literature or plain Commonsense tells you differently.

  Sub-theme

  1. Work for us (originally by selling our crap literature - now by handing over your KH real estate and building us more) and donate money/property to us and keep us in a powerful and very comfortable lifestyle.

  2. If you oppose us we will make sure all your loved ones shun you completely and will do our best to break you and use you as an example of what not to be.

  All this is done by twisting and manipulating (especially old testament) scriptures to pretend they are just telling you Jehovah's will.

  THEY DON'T EVER DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES AND YOU'LL DIE. WHO THE HELL KNOWS IF YOU WILL LIVE AGAIN? PROBABLY NOT. EVEN IF YOU DO IT WILL NOT BE DEPENDENT UPON THE 7 IDIOTS IN NEW YORK.

  i did a quick search and this doesn’t appear to have been commented on here, but if it has been, i apologise in advance for starting an unnecessary thread.. regarding a change to a song title, the study article on page 7 paragraph 17 of november 2017 watchtower explained, “the change of the title “guard your heart” to “we guard our hearts” was most considerate.

  in the audience at our meetings, assemblies, and conventions are many new ones, interested ones, young ones, and sisters who by singing the words would be put in the awkward position of telling others what to do.

  so the title and the lyrics were modified.”.

  hi gang, i'm a single mother of an 8 month old baby boy.

  i've been df'd for over six years now.

  my parents are super dubs and most of my siblings are dubs (on paper - a couple have been inactive my entire life but still claim to believe) with the exception of a brother who was never baptized.

  I'm not in the USA, I'm in the UK.

  Putting the financial point to one side just for the moment (and only for the moment) is there a fresh CRIMINAL case to be brought? If only to protect others from the twisted bastard.

  Sorry for all you and your daughters have gone through.

  From what I've read - ZALKIN know their stuff; might they know if a monetary case can be brought against your father or your ex? Do they have any assets.

  please could someone explain to me what the generation thing i keep seeing in people's threads was that had lots of people leave the wts coz it was way before i became a witness.

  I'll try ...

  Up until 1995 and especially after the 1975 debacle "The Generation" was understood as those aged between about 70 and 80 - that saw 1914 (with understanding) and would not pass away before Armaggeddy.

  When it was becoming obvious that the generation WAS passing away the age of understanding not-so-subtly dropped from 15 to 10 to babies.

  By 1995 the gig was up as we were now 81 years from 1914.

  So the definition of "The Generation" was changed a few times between then and 2010 - see jw.facts for details - when the infamous overlapping generations arrived and more recently the "Ex-Splaned" chart shows how it works. (Using F.W.F. and causing WTF? from many on this and other forums.)

  Freddo's comment - I believe this has been sold for property development - it is still there (week before Xmas 2017) and is a bit of a dump which would be ideal for pulling down and building houses.
