  Wow! Well I wonder how much time they've spent looking up things like "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "April", "January", "July", ? At least they were looking in other places besides the wt literature. We could literally break down every common word and find a history behind it. These people are so sad. I'm sure James Cameron and his crew did not make up a language to try to get JW's to finally come to the dark side! Makes me sick..........wf

  i feel like woody allen in the 1973 movie "the sleeper".

  i leave in 1995, wake up 15 yrs later to see what has been going on in the jw religion and find out it is completely different from what i left.

  i started a thread about beards, because i wanted to know how the modern day beard and goatee fad went over in the kh's.. now i'm curious about the tattoo, piercings and short or shaved hair look.

  YES!! I love him, and he's dead on. I loved when he said people should know UP FRONT what the jw's (and others) are all about, what their beliefs are, what kind of Bible they have, so people can make informed dicissions based on free will. But we all know that's not how it works. Whether "publishers" know it or will agree with it or not, they are using a form of mind control when they go to the door. Not even a fraction of the people would have become jw's if the information had been told them up front.

  I also like the tax thing he talked about. Governement should police these cults, not for their beliefs like he said, but for their fraudulent practices and the dangerous "rules" they hold, then be held accountable! Religion should NEVER be tax free imo.

  i'm 2 weeks into a beard and just got to wondering about it.

  do they think they will be able to shave everyday after Armageddon?

  That's funny! And what are woman suppose to do about all their shaving? I can handle a gotee, or a very, very limited amount of facial hair, but beards and mustaches, yuk. And I love like the Chris Daughtry look, the shaven head and small facial hair . But yes, it should be a man's choice for God's sake!

  Frankly , I'm grateful for the post! That's what this forums all about, take what you want and leave the rest. And yes I WILL watch these one at a time. Thanks Frankie. Sometimes it's harder to put it all into words on a super long post, it's better to just watch it.

  Why Do Americans Live Shorter Lives Yet Spend So Much for Health Care ???

  every time i see statistics comparing average lifespans amoung countries, why is the usa so far down the list???.

  with susposedly the best healthcare in the world (for those who can afford it), the last study i saw ranked the usa at number 38 in the world.

  yet, we spend 4, 5 or even 10 times more per person on health care than most others.. what gives ???.

  I don't know if this would help but Oprah's show today was all about the food we actually eat and what's in it. And one of the points made by the guest author was that we spend way to much on health care and yet we spend very little on food. Meaning food is cheap and it's showing in more ways than none. Google the show or catch it tonight when it re-airs. Very interesting. Made me think a lot more about what I want in my body. The show was based on a documentary that's out called Food Inc. (I think). Just one thought.......wf

  JWs having Facebook Sex - Strongly warned to get off FB at CA yesterday

  so it appears that jws are letting their freaky side come out on fb for everyone to see.. there was talk on the ca yesterday strongly warning all true lovers of jehovah to delete their fb accounts.

  the talk was solely about fb.

  the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.
