Only Baptised JW's make it through Armageddon
by ForbiddenFruit ini remember the day that i first found out about this teaching.
it was during a co's visit, he got up on the platform, and made it absolutely clear that the only way to get into paradise was to be a baptised jw (he had a letter from the borg saying this).
i was confused by this, and the next day i was set to work with him in the ministry.

Omg, this is EXACTLY what happened to my 13 year old daughter only a couple of years ago. Our "PO" was giving a talk and said if you weren't a baptized jw you would die at Armageddon. I was so brainwashed and stopped really hearing a long time ago, but my daughter heard it loud and clear. She went home and secretly cried and it wasn't until this last year when we were getting out, that she told me about that incident and how she cried and how scared and upset she was. We both cried and I told her everything was going to be ok, we're leaving. These idiots forget these young, tender hearts sitting in the audience and don't mind scaring the sh*# out of them.
Welcome FF, thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful thought ...
It really is. My mom gave me up for adoption to my aunt and came in and out of my life until she died at 36 and that smell ALWAYS reminds me of her. When I smell it on someone I always turn and look. I don't wear it because a lot of people don't like it, but I do love to smell it

bought myself some patchouli oil.
I actually love patchouli oil. Reminds me of my mother (yes I'm sure she was a hippie!), I keep a bottle just to open it and smell it. Does that make me a tree hugger??

Little Girls in the '70's KHalls: Dresses
by White Dove indo you remember the short little dresses small girls wore back then in the khall?
my mom wouldn't replace ours until they were very short on us.
she was very cheap.. when we sat down in a chair, it was very difficult to keep the skirt down far enough.. i remember getting slapped hard on bare skin several times because i couldn't keep my dress down when told to.
