experience with an old workmate earlier this week

a few details have been changed in case the person posts here: we talked for several hours.

she said she lost all motivation and would like it back but cant get it back.

she still believes most of their doctrines and believes she follows them because they teach the truth.

The other day when I was with my good jw friend we were watching country videos and this one came on about big corporate america sticking it to the little man in the factory. Taking their jobs and closing down the factory. They would show these big wigs sitting up in their ivory tower making huge dicissions not realizing the effect it was having on the little man. So my friend was talking about how jacked up that was and I used it as an oppurtunity to "plant a seed". I said, "ya, isn't it sad when a group of men can make dicissions over people and never live their life to know how their dicissions are affecting the average person? That seems so wrong. People should never be aloud to be over anyone else and tell them what to do without living their life........" I don't know if it did anything, but I sure felt good about planting a seed. I tend to think now, that outside of organized religion, Holy Spirit is truly operating in my life and that that insident may have been Holy Spirit trying to help my friend.

So keep planting the seeds very, very carefully. I love my friend to death and I don't approach it as trying to 'make him see why this is wrong'. I want the freedom of Christ to come into his life so I'm very delecate so he will continue to be my friend so I can help him hopefully......wf

If an elder sits on J/C ...when they are corrupt themselves ?

if an elder who in the past has sat on a judicial committee, (and therefore being a part of determining the outcome of bro/sis).

was later found out to have been in a sinful condition at that time, does that make the document (that he had signed as part of the three signatures), legal in the eyes of the board?.

there was a case in england where an elder had been jailed for paedophilia spreading back many years.

we all stood under an old walnut tree, gathered around a homemade alter with a basin and jug set upon it.. a female ordained priest led the ancient ceremony of christening the child into the christian faith.

the sun broke out as we sang a hymn.

(i sure heard this a lot over the years).....what a mindfluck!

!...i was spoonfed this from the birth, but you must feel really stoopid if bought into this as an adult and joined this outfit.....(let me know, cause i would feel stoopid and feel stoopid for not walking in 1995 when they decided the the generation of 1914 was not a real generation)....notice they continue this mindfluck teaching even after 1995....oompa.

Well I know one thing, if I have to die, I'll die in peace living outside of the control of the wt. I'll grow old with joy and being proud of the life I'm now living and being at peace with whatever happens to us later. The wt idea is 'live for us now, your real life is to come.....maybe.' No thanks. I'm not afraid of growing old or dying, I just think that something is taking place in the universe that is going to reverse that process and it has nothing to do with beliefs or a religion.............wf
