I'm not sure yet where to get it, but I do know I want a symbol, no words. But I've never had a tattoo and I want it to be perfect. A symbol that has a lot of meaning to me. I've been googling ancient symbols and their meanings. When I see the right one I'll know it. Buddha Eyes was a really cool symbol, but it seemed religious and I don't want something religious, something that embraces all........wf

Some Civility
by ufo1 init is with some hesitation that i post this as i dont post too often, however i am on here every day and i do read about 95% of all threads.
i also want to say that this is not meant in any way to insult anyone, or to single out any point of view.
the reason i post this is that this site has been and continues to be a great place for helping those of us who have been hurt by the wt, and i dont want that to change.

You just have to move out of threads like that if they bother you. The beauty of this site is that you can have an opinion and ignore, discuss or argue about it even. Sometimes people are having a bad day, some subjects might particularly bother someone, who knows. But to me it's more real than anything the WTS ever offered. All they have is the phony "everyone is your brother and sister, don't stumble anyone, your opinions don't matter, never ask for what you need, etc......." Just don't read the one's that make you feel discouraged, I don't. And you can tell from certain posters or how a thread is going in the first few posts to know if it's something you want to be in. That's my Opinionwf

What Walk Tall said!. And I might add that I still feel something "special" about who Jesus might have been? I don't know if it's still indoctrination over the "son of God" or if there's really something to actually being who the scriptures said. Right now I guess I consider him at the very least an enlightened person and I hold him in the same esteem as other enlightened ones of past and modern time. That's just where I am now...wf

I'm sorry about how your feeling right now. But you will go through stages, it's just part of the process. Keep studying medicine or anything that interests you! This will be the biggest help. You WILL make other friends in time especially if you are going to school, just wait and see how many great people start to come into your life! And don't look for another set of "beliefs", in fact, it's not a bad thing to just be with 'you' for a while. Embrace that. It feels like starting over for sure, but it doesn't have to be sad, look at it as a new beginning and how fun and free this is going to be. Make good use of this site to help you. .wf
