Just write something completely goofy!
by awildflower inso this is inspired by my favorite poet edgar allen john doe!
sometimes we just need to say something completely goofy to relieve tension and have fun.
the pineapple king, with a feather in his hat and a spring in his step, finally helped the chicken cross the road!.

Oh yes, I worked out my schedule for the kids and I even if that meant taking them out of school for a day. I made sure I had meals planned for him and others. And you know what, not ONCE did a CO ever work with me or my kids. We saw him conduct meeting for service and that was it. What a waste!

What They Tell a CO
by WalkTall indid it ever bother any of you that you and your family were talked about to the co during the elders meeting with him?
and for those who have been elders, my question is: how much do they tell him?
for some reason, it has always bothered me that this man, who is a complete stranger really, is informed of family or personal situations through the lense of elder's opinions.

I've never been impressed by CO's. In fact last year when I left the org, one of the last ditch efforts that might have proven to me that these idiots really cared, was maybe I would get a visit from the CO. I had written a long letter to two of the so called 'elders' in my hall and chewed them out using their own literature for how they handled a certain situation and why they were wrong. I send them each a copy AND the local CO who lives blocks away from me btw. You would have thought I could get a visit or even a phone call. NOTHING. I'm sure they figured "the sister with the unbelieving mate and unbaptized kids" didn't need to have a voice. I have no respect for the way this org is set up. I never liked the idea of them making blanket decisions for you and your family based on someone Else's (elders) words. Not even in a court of law is this allowed!.........wf

Exactly Shawn! I can just hear it someday at an assembly: "Brothers, you can continue to be proud of how Jehovah has guided us through the no blood controversy in Satan's world. Be proud for the stand you've taken in upholding Jehovah's sovereignty and letting his word guide your life. Even the Military, one of Satan's biggest tools on the planet, is looking to us for education in this process of bloodless surgery. You see friends, Jehovah will always prevail, even Satan and his evil entities will be made to acknowledge the wisdom and guidance of our great God Jehovah, and you friends are on the front line of that!"...........etc. You get the picture!.........puke.

It is smart to always use a transfusion as a last resort. And it is smart to train the military and Dr.'s in general how to save a life even if they don't have blood. Here's the big difference though: THE MILITARY AND DR'S IN GENERAL ARE NOT GOING TO LET SOMEONE DIE BY NOT GIVING THEM A BLOOD TRANSFUSION! So all the progress JW's THINK they are making means sh#@ when they let someone die who could live. It defeats their purpose and makes them look like the fanatics they are. And btw, since when do the jw's support anything the Military does?? It's just another example of taking credit where they can but demeaning the source all at the same time........wf

Yes Poppers, that's up there with some of the goofiest stuff ever!
This stuff is great. Sometimes my brain gets so fried because of classes that's it's nice to just 'clear the palate'
