god hates homosexuality very very much ... right?.

being wicked homosexual ... you are to be destroyed in armageddon ... right?.

people were created by god as heterosexual, but some are today homosexual as a result of imperfection - punishment for disobedience of adam a eve..... but why there is so much homosexuality among god created animals?

BTW, Imagine what a picture that will be after Armageddon: Paradise, faithfull witnesses of all races singing praises to Jehovah, little children petting lions, well dressed sister gardening ... and in the middle of that - homosexual bulls having sex - well its their natural behaviour.... (can you picture that on the WT cover???)

LOL WTWizard- That seriously was the one thing that drove me crazy about the meetings- the music- and there is always some tiny sweet little old lady that sings really loud and high pitched and off key ARRRRHHH!!!!! it drove me nuts! So glad Iam not subjected to that form of torcher anymore

In my opinion a prophet is some who speads gossip! If God spoke to me- then I relayed that message to you it would be... HEARSAY! Does this sounds like a reasonable statement to make??? As a deist I do 100% believe in a creator, and I believe that if god had a message for mankind, it would be a direct message, one that all of god's creations would be able to understand- a universal language so to speak.

In answer to your question- YOUR ELDER IS FULL OF CRAP!!! not only was the first message that was written down (book of Jonah) hearsay, but it has been re-written, then translated from a language your elder doesn't speak into one he does and then hes trying to explain/interpret the "original message" to you..... but the original message was hearsay in the first place..... Hmmmnnnn???????????????? It's GOSSIP!!! and if I remember my training correctly- gossip is something that Jehovah Hates!

a few years ago at a convention, they related a story of a jw who was shot during service.

but rather then stop and get medical attention (like a normal person would have done) they moved on to the next door to finish the street.

when they got to the house the householder just so happened to be a (you guessed it) nurse!

JW friend wants to tell me about Christ's return in 1914....Advice needed!

my long time friend recently took the plunge (baptized) and is now trying to recruit me.

one of the first things she told me is how all the "other religions" should be carefully inspected, because they are all wrong, in a nut shell.

so, i asked the obvious: i'm not concerned with all the others, i'm here to talk about your's.

Whyizit- What do you believe? To quote the JW's "stand firm!" - state to your 'friend' what you believe and say- I respect your opinion, I have concidered it, but I simply do not agree, if you were a true friend, you would stop pushing the issue and respect my right to have a different opinion.

Mouthy- LOLOLOL Love it- "if hes back why mourn him?" - i never looked at it that before, thankyou

Blacksheep- I recognize that same graph to caculte the 1914 crap from the book called "what does the bible really teach?"- that was used to try to convert me- I bought the lies then, took two more books for me to start asking real questions!

What's Your Opinion: Is Legal Marriage Important?

hey everyone,.

so i've been thinking about marriage a lot lately, with same-sex marriages being approved in some states, banned in others, and flip-flopped in still others (see: california).. i recently read an article in my local newspaper about how marriage is a personal and religious union that has no business being in any of our laws, and that the laws should instead be for a legal domestic relationship, to establish and recognize legal families, and that marriage should be altogether separate from that.

i really agreed with all that was said in the article.. i want to get married.

Rachel- the legal reason was during my 2 years stint as an almost JW- so I could get baptised- LOL it was a silly reason to me then and it still is now- God doesnt care about papwork- men do! but the point about it being legally protective in cases like flipper stated, was my main reason for asking my man to sign on the dotted line (he's not/ never has been a JW- thank G_d!)

TY Watson- I was just trying to show my support. I think the letter is great just how it is - In my haste to comment I did not click on the link to understand exactly which Editor it was being sent to- Iam sorry and also Iam very glad it wont go to waste by being sent to WT!

Watson I think we can both agree that issues like this are not being told properly by the media at large, exposing the lies and helping the real victims must be a priority in any case (in this case a very younge child). LOTS MORE LETTERS NEEDED!!!

I'am not sure if iam just being too critical of the WT here but in the two years i spent reading every single publication mag WT/AWAKE I dont know if i ever noticed them publish a question that they could not answer (using scripture) or discredit (using scripture)in some way... To publish a letter that without a doubt proves them wronge???-to do so would be self destructive wouldn't it?

Maybe sending this Letter to the Ed of your local Newspaper instead of WT would be more productive- I have felt like doing simmilar several times- it may just spark enough intrest from the REAL media to do a proper indepth story on the Issue and cause more to question the GB and prevent more people from joining this "cult" in the first place.

Appart from that, I give your letter an 11 out 10.

Just to re-define what marriage is for a moment... a life long commitment between two indivduals who wish to share the rest of their lives together in a loving environment (children optional). My husband and I had that for the first 8 years before we actually did the paperwork! all 3 of our kids were there with us in the court house on the day- no church envolved/or KH- life went straight back to normal afterwards, we really only just did the paperwork for legal reasons- we already had the marriage + kids+ dept already lol

I think most of us seem to forget that a wedding is one act- the marriage is a life style choice, that can funtion with or without the paper work (but like Flipper said- that one peice of paper can potentially save your life!)

If you want to get married- Go for it! Best Wishes and Enjoy Your Futures Together

Can anyone explain...

hi, can anyone please explain to me why?...

in the "blood dvd" the org says "that although we will not accept practises that go against our religion (blood transfusion), as jw's we do still wish to have the very best medical treatment avaliable to us.." but the majority of witlesses wont let themselves, their children or other members go to uni to become docters/surgions etc.

please explain????.

Quandry- thankyou for the welcome, I will have a look through the search.

2 years before I started studying with the Witnesses, I had really emergency C-section to save the life of my child and myself (I needed a bag to not bleed to death on the table!), I thought that surviving the ordeal was god's way of giving me a second chance at life- in my search to find answers and a good way to live, I had a knock at my door... the rest is a very common tail... Now I just thank god for life/the people who help to save lives/the people who make life worth living and that I got a second chance at it!
