however, i had not seen this information which clear up the 1 kings 7:23 issue before so i am posting here.

If so, did you read Leviticus 14:1-20???? (Cleasing from Infectious Skin Disease) if this shit actually works, to cure my dermatitis I'm going to sacrafice my pet mouse- paint my nipples with his blood and dance in front of the KH naked- sounds silly hey? I bet I have a fair idea of the NUMBER of people who would pay to see that!

Personally- I dont give a toss what numbers are found in the Bible or the Koran. Have you actually even read these books??????

Purple Triangles - Symbol of JW faith?

i clicked on one of the google-ad sponsors on jwn, and saw the purple triangle on the http://www.servicesupplies.net/ website.

so help me understand this: is it ok for a jw to use the nazi symbol of a purple triangle to identify themselves, but using the cross is not acceptable?.

I've seen the WT DVD on this- I cryed, and I felt for all the victims regardless of religion preference!

But you are right- A purple triangle is a symbol! but it was a forsed symbol- meaning they did not choose it at the time, and I personally have never seen a JW wear one.

On a lighter note- anyone see any similarities here?? triangle=pyramid LOL sorry, had to add that!

Aparently they have published a book on past "bad judgments and dull lights", when I left it was offered to me to read- but I wouldn't take it! It's sick that the FDS would go to such lenghts in order to cover up the BullShit! "we didn't lie, the light is becomming brighter now we are in the time of the end" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Does anyone know the name of this "publication"? - (also a copy of it may come in handy the next time I run out of toilet paper LOL)

What were you going to (wait to) do in the new system?

i was reading on jwr a thread that linked to these funny indian music videos that weere "subtitled" in english (very funny if you have seen them...) and the thread author was like, "after armageddon if i get resurrected i'm totally going to direct indian music videos".

which is all sorta beside the point, but prompted me to think back and try to recall what exactly i planned to do in the new system.

you know- we all had those things we really wanted to do but were going to "wait until the new system to..." do whatever.. so: are you actually doing those things now, or were they totally unrealistic and fairytale type stuff like "riding a tiger up mt everest and snowboarding down"??

This is one of the sadest things I ever heard one lady at my local KH say..."In the new system, my husaband and I will be able to have children".As a mother I could not imagine my life without my babies! Not raised a JayDub, I was brought up to believe that if you cant have any of your own, there are plenty of children out there who dont have parents at all and could do with a loving family. I mentioned this to her and I could visibly see the grief behind her trained smile. She is still in and a very active pioneer- I miss her- my children could do with an Aunty as nice as her!

the family member refuses to see your side or admit any responsibility.

under what corcumstances will it be in your best interest either to ignor the situation, express your anger, or somehow demand justice?

To Quote Mr Kenny Rodgers- "sometimes you have to fight to be a man", my reasoning behind this is pretty simple- how will a person learn that their actions are not ok, if you turn the other cheek! I'm pretty sure even a cute pussy cat would scratch your eyes out if you approched her kittens in a threating way.

Venting is good, but it wont solve the issue- even a letter (just one) to the person or org explaining your side of things and end it by saying the only reason you are so angry is because you care!

Dont stoop to their level- always be prepared to here them out as well- if you can be reasonable, so can they!

Goodluck and I hope you are able to sort these issues out. If not, there is plenty of ears here ready to listen

As a Theist, I am what you could class as a 'Modern Deist'/'Pandeist'/'Spiritual Deist'/'Naturalist'/'Evolutionist'.

At the end of the day you can stick your labeling system up your prophetic butt "undissfellowshiped", you do make a good argument, but let me ask you this- is 'your' mindless squabbling over belief systems actually making you sleep better at night? do you still feel the need be "superior"? are you looking for forgiveness? do you want to live forever in a paradise earth?

My advice to is pretty simple- say it with me "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And the Wisdom to know the difference!". I do not know everything! I can not change that! I wish I was brave enough to be true to myself! This is possible! Live life by the golden rule that transends all religion and non religions alike- As long as it harm none, do as you will! (yes that was a bit Pagan- you can add that to my labels too if you like!)

Ok, your average North Korean is probably just as PISSED at their own Gov as most of us are! I say- LOVE the PEOPLE, Hate the Gov's stupidity!

This might sound a bit twisted, but... I am still all for a "One World Government", only not run by the WT LOL!

Once we all realise (and the Gov's too) that we are all the "Human Race" and that our 'real world' is getting larger by the day ( space exploration- men living on the moon etc...), it kind makes our little patches on Earth seem even smaller- so if we stop squabbaling over minor details like gender, colour, sexual preference and which patch of dirt here is better (the sacred/promised land crap!)-we can live on this planet together in relative harmony!

people always justify belief in god by saying that the universe needed a creator to balance out the fundamental forces & set things in motion, etc... or in other words an intelligent first cause (who designed the designer though?)....

but how do we get from this ambiguous grand designer to the judeo christian god, or jesus, or al lah?

Ooompa,did you mean that they get their "rocks off" by giving long lectures to Apostates? and that they pride themselves on talking for hours on end without being tired or needing to stop for things like food, toilet etc...? talk about spirit driven- are we sure they not on crack!???
