  they fought well, albeit with unrefined technique.

  pure strength of authority apparently seems to make up for a lack of sufficient evidence, just as the 300-pound fellow who believed you were checking out his girlfriend can beat the tar out of you even though you were merely looking at the clock behind her on the wall.

  i remember one that was about a kid picking up a $5 bill outside of the kingdom hall.

  he looked around to see if anyone around him lost it, and when no one did, he decided to keep it.

  I will put mine into a category of special needs talk, the one after a public reproof or disfellowshipping. They always talked of a "hypothetical situation," and gave most of the gory details. Totally inappropriate, and in poor taste.

  did you feel guilty ,when ignoring disfellowshipped ones ?

  i was having an affair with a pioneer at the time and a girl who was disfellowshipped was in the loo at the hall (she actually had not done aything scriptually wrong (but the elders thought she had ) i tried to smile at her as i felt i was not in a position to judge anyone as guilt was destroying me but she just looked down at the floor , 14 years later we are good friends and both "free".

  when you were "in" and ignored disfellowshipped did you ever think "im not in a position to judge anyone " ?.

  Yes, I felt guilty. I smiled at them as big as I could, almost enough to make my face break off. It hurt. The policy is SO fucked up. Jesus associated with tax collectors; so much better than the standard elder.

  just curious if the crazy was limited to my town or not.. i remember and elder, during a talk about everyone being resurrected that it included all the babies that had miscarried or were aborted, because the big j knew what their hearts were.

  after the meeting, he was telling a couple of us how it also disturbed him that his wife would have to carry someone elses babies and he would be raising someone elses children.. another elder said that we would colonize other planets, and that since the bible never said the big j didn't make other inhabited worlds that there was a whole universe of planets to colonize after armageddon.. anyone else hear crazy crap like this?.
