  i've been looking on this site for some time but never posted.

  i'll give a little about myself, but not too much.

  i'm a ex-bethelite ( brooklyn )and currently serving as an elder (10 years) (thinking about stepping down) on the service committee.

  A lot of what's been said is true, at least from what I saw when I left 6 years ago. You have your small number of Super JW and like always, the one shoe in/one shoe out crowd. The latter is that great crowd so to speak. That's the ones who do just enough to get by. They would leave if the opportunity presents itself. The RIGHT opportunity that is. Most of the ones I remember could explain the doctrine well enough to convert a new person but when faced with tough questions about the WT history and ever changing policies, they would have no answer but "Wait on Jehovah". I feel for the new breed, that's the newborns in this cult. They will continue to keep the family tree going for the WT unfortunately. Hopefully, the GB will do or say something that's completely outrageous in the near future. Maybe that will wake up a large number

  Mormons do encourage secular education. A ex-Mormon is better off than a ex-JW because of this. I think the Witnesses are a little more controlling too.

  I'm surprised that Pharrell didn't pop up In the video. He is all that is missing. Hope they're paying him for using his song so much. Yeah, this definitely would have been a NO NO 8 to 10 years ago. Now that Social Media has taken over and the Older generation of Witnesses are seeing a decline, it's time for the new appeal to a younger audience

  i can understand maybe wearing one of these out in fs, or at ca's & dc/ic, while out and about, but to the kh, come on who the heck are they trying to impress??

  it looks so stupid for half the congregation to be wearing these things at most of the meeting.

  oh and now when the circuit serpent, sorry servant, comes around it's even worse!!!

  I subscribed to this channel a few months ago. The videos are very well done and don't hold back from criticism of Christian beliefs. The videos on Samson are 95% straight from the bible, with a little bit of added dialogue for satire. The accurate depictions of the scriptures makes it so shocking that anybody with a honest and sane mind could ever believe it.

  @Terry I would take that Samson killing a thousand men would make him the most feared man on earth. WHO in their right mind would be brave enough to even speak to him after hearing of his fits of rage? I seen Dracula Untold recently and one scene where Dracula kills a WHOLE army of Turks that tried to attack his castle. You would think that most of the fools would run after seeing 20 men get their asses whooped!
